Jungkook's breath hitched as Taehyung's fingers slid beneath his shirt, his touch light yet electrifying, sending a shock of warmth and longing through him. Every brush of Taehyung's skin against his own made his heart race faster, a rhythm he had never felt.

It was as if Taehyung's touch was breathing life back into him, filling the void that had consumed him during their time apart.

His hands instinctively found Taehyung's waist, pulling him closer, feeling the heat of his body, the undeniable pull that had always been there between them.

Jungkook's fingers trembled as they traced the curve of Taehyung's back, desperate to hold him, to ground himself in this moment.

''Taehyung... I can't.... I can't stand being apart from you anymore," Jungkook whispered, his voice hoarse, thick with emotion. His hands cupped Taehyung's face, his thumbs brushing away the tears that clung to the edges of his lashes.

Their foreheads touched, Jungkook's breath mingled with Taehyung's, a fragile connection that felt like salvation. "I need to feel you... all of you. Please, Tae..."

Taehyung's eyes darkened, his gaze piercing through Jungkook's soul. His hands moved to grip the sides of Jungkook's neck, his thumbs brushing over his jawline with a mix of tenderness and dominance.

"Did I tell you, you can touch me?"

Taehyung's voice was low, rough, laced with an edge that made Jungkook's eyes shut tightly, guilt washing over him.

"Don't make me repeat myself, Jungkook."

Jungkook's breath hitched again, his hands freezing where they rested on Taehyung's waist. He knew he deserved this, deserved the anger, the frustration, the pain Taehyung was letting out.

But the weight of it crushed him, making him feel smaller than he'd ever felt before.

"Do you have any fucking idea how I felt when I didn't see you beside me after opening my eyes?"

Taehyung's voice cracked, trembling with the weight of his emotions. His hands tightened on Jungkook's neck, not enough to hurt, but enough to make him feel the desperation behind his words.

"I thought... I thought you regretted everything. That you didn't want me anymore."

"No, Tae," Jungkook choked out, his voice breaking. "It's not true. I love you. I've always loved you. I love every single moment I've spent with you. I don't regret anything. Not a single thing."

But Taehyung wasn't listening, his own emotions pouring out like a flood he could no longer control. His hands trembled as he gripped Jungkook's shoulders, his eyes glistening with unshed tears.

"Do you know what it felt like, Jungkook? When I heard you got into an accident? When I found out you were missing, and no one....no one...could tell me if you were even alive?"

His voice cracked, and a tear slipped down his cheek. "I thought I lost you. I thought I'd never get to see you again, never get to hold you, never get to tell you how much you mean to me."

Jungkook's heart twisted painfully in his chest, guilt and sorrow eating away at him. "I'm so sorry, Taehyung. I didn't mean to hurt you. I never wanted to hurt you. I'm sorry I couldn't return earlier."

Taehyung's hands moved to Jungkook's chest, fisting the fabric of his shirt as his tears finally broke free. "Do you know how it felt, thinking you might be gone forever? That I'd never hear your voice again, never see your stupid smile?"

His voice was a mix of anger and heartbreak, and it shattered deep inside Jungkook. "You left me, Jungkook. You left me wondering if I'd ever get you back."
