(Next chapter You won't see Naruto much but Someone Very important Will be Introduced)

Naruto sat cross-legged before Hiruzen Sarutobi in the retired Hokage's office, his gaze fixed firmly on the floor as if the weight of his request was too much to bear. The warm afternoon light filtered through the shoji screen, casting shadows across the room. Hiruzen observed him silently, his wise eyes betraying a mixture of curiosity and concern. Finally, Naruto spoke, his voice steady but laced with vulnerability.

"I want to be on the front lines in this war, as both a soldier and a messenger," Naruto said, raising his head to meet Hiruzen's gaze. "But I need your help, Lord Third."

Hiruzen leaned back in his chair, stroking his beard thoughtfully. "Why are you coming to me, Naruto? Your father is the Hokage. This is his decision to make."

Naruto's lips pressed into a thin line before he answered. "Because no one in this village listens to what I have to say. No one cares what I think. But you... you're different. You're more influential than the current Hokage. People respect you, even if they don't always show it."

The boy shifted to his knees, lowering his head in a rare show of humility that surprised Hiruzen. "Please, Lord Third. Tell me how to become a spy as great as the Toad Sannin. I'll do whatever it takes."

Hiruzen's eyes narrowed slightly, his sharp mind picking apart Naruto's words. "Why not go to Jiraiya himself? He's alive, and he's still the best person to teach you."

Naruto's head snapped up, his voice rising with unmasked anger. "No. I'd rather die than ask for help from that family. Rin-sensei can't help me because she'll be on the front lines. You're my only option. You're the one who mentored the Legendary Sannin. You shaped them into what they are. If anyone can teach me, it's you."

Hiruzen stared at him for a long moment, the boy's desperation palpable in the tense silence. Finally, he sighed, the weight of decades of experience and regret etched into his features.

"You know how to use Shadow Clones, don't you?" Hiruzen asked, his tone neutral.

Naruto blinked, slightly caught off guard by the question. "Of course I do," he replied.

"I can teach you the basics of espionage," Hiruzen said, reaching into a drawer and pulling out a small scroll. "But understand this-learning the basics is only the first step. Jiraiya became the spy he is through years of experience, not just training. The field will teach you far more than I ever could."

He handed the scroll to Naruto, who accepted it with both hands, bowing his head slightly in gratitude.

"Thank you," Naruto said quietly, but his voice carried the weight of genuine appreciation.

"As for your request to act as a messenger and front-line soldier," Hiruzen continued, "I'll see what I can do. But why is this so important to you?"

Naruto hesitated, glancing down at the scroll in his hands. "I just... I want to see the world. To understand how things work beyond this village. If I'm going to survive this life, I need to know how people think, how they act in places outside of Konoha."

Hiruzen's gaze grew sharper, suspicion flickering briefly in his eyes, but he chose not to press the boy further. Instead, he nodded. "I'll speak to them. But remember, Naruto, knowledge comes at a price. Be prepared for that."

Naruto looked up at him, his expression unreadable. "I already know that, Lord Third. I've been paying that price my whole life."

For a moment, the old man saw not a boy before him, but a shadow of someone far older, shaped by scars both visible and unseen. Hiruzen nodded solemnly, his heart heavy with the knowledge of how much this child had endured. "Then go. Begin your training. And remember, the choices you make from here will define the kind of man you become."
