"Custard, Custard!" Walnut was calling out to him, she was worried since he'd been staring at space ever since they've tried to find Pancake.
He shook his head, finally stopped zoning out. "..A..ah.. Walnut, sorry, I've just been thinking about... Stuff..."
He was overwhelmed with thoughts, just what could have happened to his best friend? Only Shining Glitter, Toothpaste, Pizza, Walnut and Madeleine came along, so it wasn't really a big group. ".. It's really nice to see more people again...! I missed you guys so much..." Fire Cracker hugged Shinning Glitter, as she was being pet.
DJ smiled, "Yo, Glitter, didn't expect you to survive, ahaha.." "Wowww... Okay, mean." Shinning glitter blew a raspberry at him.
"If I'm correct, then Pancake should be-" Toothpaste paused, looking up from his hand-made map of the forest.
Everyone stopped walking aswell, and was shocked by the sight of Pancake and Sandwich on the grass, "Ms Sandwich!-" Pancake hugged her, tightly. He then looked up to find that the others that were there.
"...Custard, Walnut, Mr Madeleine, Ms Shinning Glitter, Ms Pizza... Mr DJ and Firecracker too?!..."
Custard immediately lunged at him, making Pancake let go of Sandiwch, and Pizza immediately ran to the now awake Sandwich. "..Sandy.."
"..Izza..." She immediately hugged her, "God, you're such a damn mess... What even did they did to you...?" She said, she was gonna cry out of relief but she was trying to keep her composure.
Sandwich seemed to notice that, and was glad that her friend didn't change not one single bit. "... It's complicated, I'm glad to have you back too..."
Madeleine, DJ, Firecracker, Walnut, Shinning Glitter and Toothpaste had much more questions. But they let them have their reunion for now.
--- After some time, they decided to walk back to the cabin.
"So you're telling me Bellflower, Dr Bones, Eclair, you and Pancake were being controlled by Pomegranate this whole time.... That damn bi-" DJ immediately covered Toothpaste's mouth, "We have four kids around us." He said, glaring at him.
"And all by this Pomegranate seed... I'm gonna take this to Ms Latte and see if we'll be able to discover anything about it!" Walnut put the broken pomegranate seed in one of her evidence bags.
Madeleine held his sword out and was protecting everyone with his shield, he looked back at Pancake. "Don't you ever run away again without telling us,okay, Pancake? Seriously , you gave everyone a heart attack."
"I promise I won't.... ...Speaking of which,
When we get back to the cabin..."
"...I actually have something to tell you."
Notes ; heyy did no one expect an update? I've finally matured for the past four years, so i decided to finally continue. I've been cringing at these chapters, but i still wanna embrace and welcome this book of mine, as it started everything. The book will continue updating, and I'm removing filler chapters and will rewrite the other chapters soon.
