Sadie's POV
Ugh I haven't talked to Leo all day! I don't even get the chance to since he is always with Amara! It's like they are a couple instead of us!
" Cupid " a monotone voice said. I raised my head, Ed sat down on the bench beside me.
" What Emo? " I said a little to harshly.
" Miss.Dawn said to come and find you she said that you skipped too many classes "
" I don't care tell her I went home cause I was sick "
" No "
" Fine then tell her I ditched class and I'm not coming "
" Just shut up and come "
" No! " I snapped. Ed sighed; silence fell between us.
I felt a cold hand rest on my forearm. I looked at Ed our eyes met.
" Angelo you're Hernandez's girlfriend stop being such a coward "
" Gee thanks " I said sarcastically.
" Whenever him and Amara are together just go and join them. He's your boyfriend after all. You should be able to hang out with him "
" But I can't! "
" Yes you can! "
" No I can't Ed! "
" What the hell happened to the Angelo I know?! Sadie Angelo would never act like this! "
" Ugh.....you're right... "
" I know I am "
" Oh shut up "
" You comin to class? "
" Yeah....thanks Emo " I said playfully.
Ed and I walked back to class. When we got there Miss.Dawn looked happy to see me considering I was one of her best students. Leo didn't even notice I arrived. I clentched my fist as I took my seat.
During lunch I saw Leo sitting next to Amara in the cafèteria. I was about to leave but Ed's words rang in my head. I sighed then slowly made my way to the empty seat next to Leo.
" Hey Leo " I said.
" Oh hey Angelo " he said. I rolled my eyes.
" Sadie this is the first time you talked to me today, talk to me more I miss you " Leo said.
" Trust me I tried " I muttered under my breath.
" Huh? "
" Nothing. "
" Wanna go out today? "
" Uh sure.... "
" Amara and I are going to go bowling so we'll meet you at your house around 7 " Leo explained. I nodded.
I thought " wanna go out today " is asking someone out on a date.... and if it's a date shouldn't it be just me and Leo? Ugh!
" Sadie?! " Leo's voice interupted my thoughts.
" Yeah? "
" I called your name like a hudred times "
" Oh sorry "
" What's wrong? "
" Nothing....I-I just remembered that I can't go tonight I-I.... "
" She's coming over to my house " Sasha budded into the convo, saving me.
