I was cold, tired and hungry, as I shivered in my cold weighed-down jeans and sweatshirt. Naked branches whip at my flustered face as I trudged onward through the bleak, white-winter forest. The wind blew against my wet jeans, multiplying my coldness.

Suddenly, my eyes landed on a faint red line in the snow. Just like before. I knew that it's blood. And blood wasn't a good omen. What am I meant to do? They say curiosity killed the cat but my curiosity overwhelmed me and I felt a sudden urge to follow the trail of blood. As it finishes, I peered up. Looming over me was an ivy covered house.
