Borderland Academy (Chishiya x Reader: Modern)

Chishiya took me to the rooftop, and we just chilled there. 

"So... what did you want to talk about?" I asked Chishiya.

"I wanted to confirm something." Chishiya replied and before I can say anything, I was lifted towards him.

Our face was 5 inches away from each other and I'm pretty sure I was a blushing mess.

"W-what a-are you doing?" I stuttered and wanted to run away from the embarrassment, but my whole body is frozen.

"Curiosity." He answered while closing the gap between us.

My heart never pounded so fast and loud before, probably millions of butterflies are flying in my stomach, and my brain is all over the place as I process what just happened.

When Chishiya pulled away, my body moved on its own and pulled him into another kiss. This time, it became a passionate kiss, and it was the most amazing feeling ever. 

I never knew Chishiya would do something like this, but I'm glad he did as he made me realize that all the feelings that I've been feeling when I was him, was love. Yes, I love Chishiya and I am not going to deny that anymore. 

"Does that mean you're my girlfriend now?" Chishiya asked me with a smirked and I chuckled.

"You wish, pretty boy." I teased and tried kissing him again, but he placed his finger on my mouth.

"Then no kiss." He gave me his usual smirked and I pouted.

"Don't then." I gave him a smirked and walked away.

He had this disbelief looked on his face and I smiled in victory.

Two can play this game!

"Stop!" Chishiya demanded and my whole body stopped. "Turn around."

My body moved on its own and turned around. Because of the pin, I wasn't immune to his mind control right now as my power is limited.

"I guess that pin is bidding in my favor." He smirked.

"Should I remove it then?" I asked him and he lifted me up until he was front of me.

I felt my face blushing again and I tried my best to fight it back.

"I don't know what you did to me, but whatever it was, it worked." He told me and I raised my eyebrow in confusion. "Y/n I'm not the romantic type so I can tell you this only. Ever since you came, you already caught my attention. I thought that being with you was a way for me to use you, but you became someone whom I'm afraid to lose. I- fuck this cringe shit."

He suddenly pulled me in a kiss, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I could only hope that I could protect my loved ones if the bad guys ever come.

I wore my favorite combat clothes, shoes and place my whip on my waist. I put the pin on my upper left chest and looked myself in the mirror. I took a deep breath and braced myself for the next challenge I'm about to face. 

Joining the Academy had been one of the best things that happened in my life. I've met amazing friends, found myself a really hot, handsome boyfriend, well, not yet a boyfriend, and made some enemies. 

Though once the others found out that I have magic powers because of the highlights, they got off my tail. Not sure about the half skulled tattoo people, I hope they won't go after me, but they did make it to the top 30. 

"Y/n! Let's goooo! We're going to be late!" Kuina suddenly busted in my room, and I smiled at her.

"Sheesh Kuina, can't you at least knock?" I asked her and she just shrugged.

"Why do I need to knock when I can use my magic powers?" She asked back and I shook my head.

"Just because you have Chishiya's magic power, doesn't mean you're going to abuse it. Save it for the tournament." I told her and she smirked.

"You know, ever since I got his magic power, I've been levelling up quite crazy! I would love to have your magic power, but for some reason, I keep getting blocked. You and Chishiya are really made for each other! It took a long time for him to allow me to have his magic power."

My face flushed at the mention of Chishiya and Kuina noticed this. She wiggled her eyebrows while taking my hand and her eyes glowed.

"You know that pretty boy is really lucky to have a girlfriend like you." I quickly regained my composure while tapping Kuina's hands.

"You can't get me to unblock you by making me flustered you know, I'll let you have my magic powers in the future. Just not now." I told her and she pouted.

"Worth a try."

"By the way, where's your boyfriend?" Karube asked once we met up with them.

"He said he'll be a bit late." I replied and they gave me a confused look.

"That's so unlike Chishiya, he's usually early when an important event is happening."

"I'll go check on him."

I teleported in Chishiya's room and saw him quickly covering something. 

"What was that?" I asked him and he gave me a smile.

"It's just something I've been preparing for the tournament. You will eventually see it." He replied and I nodded.

"We have to go, everyone's waiting for us." I held out my hand and he took it.

I teleported us back to the arena and every student from other academy filled the stage. They decided to host the tournament here in the Academy as it can cater to more than a thousand of audience and the event.

"Is it just me or did the arena grow?" I asked and Kuina proudly smiled.

"That's Borderland Academy for you!" She replied and I knew what she meant.

Soon a female wearing a black dress, with long black hair and wearing lots of jewelries appeared on the stage. She was wearing a mic on her hand and was smiling as her eyes scanned the room.
