Chapter 12: Talking About Nate

Edward then entered the Home Sweet Home with the others close by. Catnap was a bit disappointed in Theo, as he just left them.

Inside, the whole place looked so creepy. Bendy held onto Edward's leg like how he did with Mommy earlier.

"Why did I even come?" he asked himself.

Edward walked through a room, and it was filled with red smoke.

"What the heck?" asked Huggy.

Edward trudged through it, only to faint before the door.

"Edward?" asked Bendy.

"Edward!?" asked Huggy.

"EDWARD!!!" cried Poppy.

However, Edward was sound asleep, as Poppy said, "This must be drug! Sleeping gas!"

"Well, why aren't we affected by it?" asked Boogie.

"WE'RE TOYS!!! WE DON'T NEED OXYGEN TO LIVE!!" said Poppy.

"Theo?" asked Catnap.

As soon as he said that name, the gas stopped, and the room slowly cleared up. When it was empty of the gas, Huggy gently poked Edward, and said, "You okay?"

Edward's eyes shot open, and saw Huggy. He then screamed, and punched the blue plush off. Edward took a minute to realize what he just did.

"Oh, sorry Huggy."

"Ow, what was that for!?"

"Well," said Edward, "The first line of defense here, is a giant you Huggy. And...... well..... I had a horrid vision of him."

"Was it like that giant version of me?" asked Mommy.

"Yeah," said Edward.

"How many others are there?" asked Freddy.

"I don't know," said Edward, "All that I know is that I was fired for knowing about this."

"Let's play a game!" said Tattletail.

"NO!!" said Edward sternly, "No games. This is not a place to just wander around."

Tattletail looked surprised, and said, "No games?"

"No games," said Candy.

"Um, did you guys hear something?" asked Bron.

"I... I don't know what's in here," said Edward, "Stay here. I don't want you all to get hurt. You still have a kid."

Edward then walked in, and the door shut behind him. Catnap then sat down, and looked at the floor.

"You okay?" asked Freddy.

"I miss Nate," said Catnap, "He's such a good kid. I'm lucky to have him."

"I know," said Freddy, "We're all happy to have him."

"Hopefully, we'll be back before he gets home," said Huggy.

Just then, they heard metalic clinking. Quickly hiding in the shadows, they looked out to see something. There were six large mechanical legs, walking close by. The legs stopped, as a wind up key was heard. The legs then continued walking by, and out.

"What.... the fudge.... was that?" lipped Bendy to Freddy.

"Was that the monster that chased us earlier?" whispered Candy Cat.

The monster stopped, and listened. Everyone stopped, as the monster let out a noise, and looked back.  Everyone didn't dare make a noise. The monster then turned, and went back on it's way.

Mommy stretched her head out to make sure that it was gone. When it was, everyone came back out.

"I've been meaning to ask," said Catbee, "Who was Nate's first ever toy?"

"Oh," said Freddy, "That was me."

Flashback, 2008....

A very young Nate was just laying on a blanket, when his father came in, and placed Freddy right next to him.

"I remember it like it was yesterday. Nate was just one year old, and some of the older toys he'd grown out of. His dad worked at a Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. And NO, none of the rumor are true. The animatronics don't roam around at night. Anyway, when Nate first looked at me, he reached out, and pulled me in."

A bit later, now 3 years old, Nate was playing with his current collection, minus the Playtime Toys.

"After that, one by one, for his birthdays, he got new toys, starting with Tattletail, then Bendy came along, and Ultimasaurus. Finally, he got Thomas, and Indominus. Every year, since he was four, along with a special present, his grandparents give Nate a 100 dollar bill for him to spend on whatever he wants."

Nate, now 6, then looks through the Playtime Magazines with Freddy and Bendy on one side, Indominus and Thomas on this other side. Ultima and Tattletail were on the opposite side.

"He would often look through the Playtime Magazines, interested in the toys they made. However, since they went out of business, they were rather hard to come by. Until that one day he saw the garage sale down the street."

Nate suddenly heard something, and looked out the window, and saw someone putting up a sign saying, 'Garage Sale'. He put the magazine away, and his toys on the shelf, before he took off, grabbing his wagon.

Present......

Freddy smiled, saying, "And that's when you all came into Nate's life. I don't mind taking a back seat, I'm just happy to be played with."

"So am I," said Bendy, "To me, it never mattered how much you played with, the kid's gonna grow up soon. So we cherish the moments we have with him"

Everyone smiled, as Edward returned, saying, "That should help the power turn back on. Come on everyone."

Everyone walked out, until Edward was tackled by something, large. It was Kissy, or rather, a larger Kissy.

"NO!!! NO!! LET GO!!! THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!!!"

Poppy was shocked, and the light shined on the face of the voice's owner.

"Another.... Poppy?" asked Bendy.
