A/N: there's a surprise or two.
you'll definitely be happy by the end of this.__
Today was Saturday, April 25th, our two month anniversary, and Jamie was on his way over to get me right now.
I still haven't gotten a call from Juilliard, and it's been over 3 weeks. I've checked the mail every single day, expecting an acceptance letter at the least; nothing. Yet. I'm really hoping that they'll let me know soon because it's getting pretty close to graduation, and if they don't let me know in the next few days, I won't even be going to college this fall; it'll be next fall, due to me not having time to apply to other colleges. Juilliard was the only place I wanted to go.. the only place I wanted to be in.
I dressed rather comfortably for wherever he planned on taking me; he said it was a surprise. But, I didn't hesitate to look nice. I knew for a fact that we were going out for dinner, but he had plans and surprises of his own for me after that.
Allie helped me pick out an outfit after she came over earlier. Speaking of, her and Adam were actually doing really well. He officially asked her out a week or two ago, and they've been great ever since.
It's still awkward.
But, it's great.
He's still at home because he hasn't been called in yet. When he left to come back home in order to see my Juilliard audition, it was actually a very coincidental situation because the day after, they ended up sending a lot from his unit back home. He informed us that he won't be called back in unless it was an absolute emergency, which we were all thankful for.
I was patiently waiting for Jamie on the couch but I eventually made my way into the kitchen for something to eat. As I was eating, both Allie and Adam came downstairs, hand in hand, and sat themselves down at the island.
"Where is he?" Allie asked, referring to Jamie. She grabbed an apple in the bowl of fruit that was sitting nicely in the middle of the island and began eating it.
"On his way."
"Are you excited?" Adam asked, taking the apple from Allie to bite into it himself.
I couldn't begin to describe how excited I was, but I was doing a pretty fantastic job of keeping it to myself. "Very."
"How late are you guys going to be out? It's already after 4:30." Allie reminded me. I explained to her that even though it's Saturday, he told me he'd try to have me home at a reasonable time. My parents had the strict side, obviously; sometimes it didn't show. Tonight? It was definitely showing.
"You're right. They can definitely be strict. It's different every other day." Adam added on. "But, what if you're late getting home? You think they'll let it slide?"
"They said that if it was possible, be home at a reasonable hour. If not, then it'd be okay. I have their permission." I was literally smiling nonstop.
"Fuckin' suck up," He laughed. "Did you get him anything?"
"Of course I did." It was in a small bag resting in my purse.
"What is it?" They both asked, and not even a second after, the doorbell rang. Finally. My cheeks were hurting from smiling so much.
"That's for me to know, and everyone to find out." Was all I said before lightly waving at them and jogging back into the living room to grab my purse and flip my hair a little before opening the door. Once doing so, I opened the door to reveal the most handsome man right before my eyes. He was dressed in black slacks, shiny black shoes, and a white button-up, unbuttoned enough to reveal a little of his chest hair. His hair was fluffed back, and he had a little scruff forming on his face, but I was growing to love it a lot, to be honest. One hand was behind his back, and the other was resting coolly against his side. He smiled at me with his perfect teeth and stepped inside for a hug. He leaned in to kiss me after and I could feel a small smile on his mouth against mine.
