An abrupt silence befell the room, no sound other than the popping confetti on the television screen filling the air. All jaws were agape, including the one whose shocked expression gradually shifted one of pride as his ego suddenly bloated like a balloon.

"Well, well, well! Looks like someone owes me three thousand won."

There was another silence, and a girl's neck slowly swiveled like an owl's to meet the prideful gaze of none other than her opponent.

"I will beat the living shit out of you, you-" said the girl, greatly humbled after having talked up such a big game at the beginning of the tournament just to be annihilated in the end. She was so frustrated she didn't even finish her insult, instead only groaning in disdain as she dug her face into the palms of her hands.

"Ooh, kinky~ Ow!"

Hwang Hyunjin's remark went interrupted as Choi Kiyomi pelted a mini pillow at the man's chest, bitter that he was able to sneak under all of her obsidian defenses and destroy her bed when she had looked away for two seconds, not even.

"Ewwww, I'm right here!" Seolya whined, disgusted with her brother's boldness directly in front of her. Next to her sat Bang Chan, who was still processing Kiyomi's loss, unsure of how Hyunjin weaseled in there and got the win. He stayed quiet, though, because even if he felt a little more awake now, he had to admit that he had been falling asleep long before the end of the game. He was one of the first ones out, so he had all the time in the world to lean into the back of the couch again, his eyelids hanging heavy once more. The same could be said for Jasmine, who had been long clocked out on Seolya's right shoulder for the last thirty minutes, on the cusp of drooling since her jaw hung wide open.

Kiyomi's lips sat in a bitter pout, staring at the winner screen as Hyunjin gloated his win.

"You know," he started, ignoring his sister's complaint. "You could've looked at my side of the split screen to see where I was- that's what I did, at least,"

"Hmm, but I have actually have integrity," she quickly retorted, looking for any damn excuse to save her ass from the embarrassing loss even though she had done that exact thing the entire game and had just happened to fumble the bag at the worst moment. Hyunjin stuck his tongue out at Kiyomi, and she mirrored his action.

As the silence hung once more, another young boy stood up, taking his chance to escape now that he couldn't be held hostage anymore.

"Welp, I'm going to bed." Announced Kim Seungmin, who'd been basically held at gunpoint to play this Bed Wars tournament past his strict personal bedtime. Now that it was over, he could finally go get his beauty sleep. "'Night, weirdos."
