MIKE insisted on joining that ridiculous Harvard Trivia, convinced he could win. He spent the entire day pestering Samantha to participate, but the thought of enduring more than ten minutes around Louis didn't sit well with her, so she bailed. He could keep his prizes.

Of course, Mike—being Mike—took first place, earning himself a pro bono housing court case. While he threw himself into it, Samantha found herself stuck with Harvey.

She had apparently walked into Harvey's office right in the middle of a heated discussion between him and Jessica.

"But when their ex-wives are also my managing partner, that hamstrings me."

Samantha remained frozen by the door as the heated discussion continued, neither Harvey nor Jessica acknowledging her presence. Harvey definitely caught sight of her in his peripheral vision, but he refused to look away from Jessica. Instead, he pressed on.

"And if I'm gonna turn this loser into a winner, I can't be hamstrung. I can't have that."

Jessica placed a case file on the table in front of him. "Do what you gotta do."

"You won't interfere?" Harvey finally shifted his gaze to Samantha, still lingering by the door.

Jessica, unaware of her presence, backed towards her. "What did I just say? Do you have any idea how hard it is to develop a new drug if you're not Pfizer, Amgen, or Merck? This is important, Harvey."

"If Quentin came to you for someone to trust, why aren't you handling this case yourself?" Harvey asked.

"That's none of your concern," Jessica shot back.

"Well, I'm not asking as your colleague. I'm asking as Quentin's attorney."

Jessica exhaled, finally meeting Harvey's gaze. "After Quentin and I separated, he started seeing one of his research consultants." Harvey instinctively glanced at Samantha again, this time alerting Jessica of her presence. Jessica looked back at her but barely acknowledged her as she returned her attention to Harvey. "Lisa. They're still together, but he never married her. She doesn't want me on the case."

"Oh, terrific," Harvey muttered. "So I get stuck with a losing case and a girlfriend who's going to dislike me just as much as she dislikes you."

Jessica smirked. "Well, I'm sure it's not the first time someone hasn't liked you, Harvey." With that, she headed for the door, pausing just long enough to give Samantha a quick once-over before walking out.

Harvey turned to Samantha expectantly. "Who doesn't like me?"

Samantha simply shrugged.

"Do you not like me, Samantha?" he asked, clearly in a playful mood.

"I like you just fine, Mr. Harvey," Samantha replied with a smile.

Harvey grinned back before sitting up straighter in his chair. "So, what's up? You need something?"
