Class 1-A was gathered in front of the school with the Demon Slayers. The Slayers were in what they had arrived in, all of the modifications to their uniforms undone. They had also given up all of the technology and other stuff they had been granted while they lived in this time. There was a dim glow on the horizon, indicating the sun would rise in mere minutes. Everyone just stood around in an awkward silence. Nobody was fully ready to say goodbye.

A female voice began calling out for Shinobu. Everyone recognized exactly who it belonged to. Hatsume came charging through the group, eyes with very prominent bags underneath them.

"The... the fabricator finished... finished making the thing..." she panted out.

She held out a pill. Shinobu gasped in surprise before smiling and offering her hand to take it. As soon as she was given it, she walked over to Kanao.

"You should be able to make more back in the Taisho period. Granted, it'll be in powder form, but you should manage," she said to Kanao.

Kanao's eyes began to tear up. She hugged Shinobu, crying.

"What's that?" Tanjiro asked

"You recall how I was asked to check on your medical condition on her behalf? In truth, she wanted me to find a way for you to live beyond the age of 25," Shinobu replied.

Tanjiro was slightly taken aback.

"And not just you. Also, Shinazugawa and... Giyu."

Both of them were stunned, too. Shinobu had really developed a medicine to extend their lives? Giyu had always known she was looking for a way to postpone the date of their deaths, and from the look of things, she had actually succeeded. After several seconds, Kanao and Shinobu separated. Shinobu walked over to Giyu's side while Kanao returned to Tanjiro's. Hatsume walked over to the group and almost collapsed into Iida. He caught her and held her next to him.

The sun was mere seconds away from rising. Red mist slowly started to materialize around the feet of the Demon Slayers. Tanjiro and Kanao locked eyes with Midoriya and Uraraka.

"Goodbye. And good luck. Heroes," Tanjiro said.

His and Kanao's hands linked.

"Goodbye. And have a good life. Demon Slayers," Midoriya said.

The Sun barely cracked over the horizon. The red mist gathered around in a giant ring around the Demon Slayers and a white portal opened underneath the Demon Slayers. They disappeared in the portal, and they were gone.

The Demon Slayers were flying through the void they had been flying through when they had first arrived. The ticks echoed through the air, deafening. Tanjiro felt a draining feeling from his left arm and right eye. He looked at his arm and saw that it seemed to be slowly deflating.

"I guess this is the end," Mitsuri said.

"I suppose so. I'm glad I got to have some more time with you," Obanai said.

Everyone watched as they slowly departed the group, flying upward slowly. After a few seconds, they were no longer in view.

"Namu amida butsu," Gyomei said.

He, too, began floating away.

"I'm glad I got some more time with you, big brother," Genya said.

"Me too. Goodbye. And I'm still sorry," Sanemi said.

"Me too."

Genya began to float away. Sanemi seemed to be at peace with it.

"At least I had time to live as a kid, not as a swordsman," Muichiro said
