Summer Holidays

Evie's pov
Today is the last day of year 9 and I really don't want to go in to school. It's only a half day so there is no point in me even going in. Also it's a non uniform day so everyone will be judging what I wear! Suddenly Ryan bursts through my door and turns the light on.
Evie: fuck off Ryan
Ryan: no you need to get up for school
Evie: I am not going, there is no point
Ryan: yeah you are!
Then Ryan pulls my duvet off me so I kicked him by accident! He then decides to jump on top of me.
Evie: owww Ryan, get off me you dick head!
Ryan: you shouldn't have kicked me
Evie: you shouldn't have taken my duvet
Ryan: just get ready for school idiot
Evie: can't your sat on me
Mum walks into my room and she doesn't look to pleased.
Michelle: WHAT ON EARTH IS ALL THIS NOISE ABOUT?!
Evie: Ryan started it
Michelle: shut up, Ryan get off Evie, Evie get ready for school
Evie: but mum it's the last day there is no point!
Michelle: Evie you ARE going to school and Ryan will drive you there
Evie & Ryan: Noooooo but...
Michelle: no buts just do it you need to leave in 40 minutes!

Michelle's pov
Can't they just get along for 2 minutes! I feel awful, I have been sick 3 times and it's not even 8 o'clock yet! I need to tell Steve I am pregnant, but I don't know what he will say.
Ryan's pov
Errrr I hate it when mum makes me drive Evie to school, I didn't learn to drive just to be a personal taxi driver!

Evie's pov
I quickly get dressed into leggings and a
t-shirt and pack my hoodie in my bag. I then tie my hair into a messy bun and do my make up. I grab my headphones, phone and perfume and stuff them in my bag. Running downstairs I hear Ryan complaining to mum about taking me to school. I enter the kitchen and start making toast but Ryan takes it from me.
Evie: Ryan that's mine
Ryan: well its mine now!
Evie: mum tell him
Michelle: Evie just make some more! Ryan don't steal Evie's toast!
Ryan: whatever bye
Evie: errrr he is so annoying! Mum I really don't want to go to school today
Michelle: I know sweetie but it's only a half day. You can bring your friends back here after if you want Carla is picking you up!
Evie: ok at least I don't have to get the bus!

At school
(Evie's friends are Hannah, Jess and Phoebe)
Evie: I hate the last day
Jess: I know it's so boring
Hannah: at least we are just watching films!
Evie: yeah do you guys wanna come back to mine to have a bbq?
Jess: yeah
Phoebe: yeah you live in a pub so there will be booze
Evie: my mum will be there phoebs!!!
Phoebe: oh well maybe we can sneak some!
Evie: would love to but I dunno what if mum catches us?
Phoebe: ok anyway han are you coming?
Hannah: yeah of course!
Evie: oh and my auntie is picking us up so we don't have to get the bus!!

End of school
I see Carla's car as soon as we are out of school so we all walk over!
Evie: Hi Auntie Carla, thanks for giving us a lift!
Carla: Your welcome babes!
Evie: I'll go in the front you lot go in the back.
Carla pulls up outside the Rovers and I kiss her goodbye before getting out!
Evie: Mum has set the bbq so we just have to go get food from the shop
We cooked the food and played twister and generally messed around till Hannah's mum came who took them all home!
Michelle: Evie you have finished school!
Evie: yeah I am so glad it's the summer holidays!
Michelle: come on let's go watch TV!
Evie: ok but I am picking!
Michelle: fine! Come and give me a hug!

Michelle's pov
Evie surprisingly cuddled up to me until she fell asleep, she hasn't done that since she was 7! I leave her to sleep for a bit but then wake her!
Michelle: Come on baby wake up, go to bed!
Evie: I love you mum!
Michelle: love you too honey. We are going to have a great holiday!
I helped Evie get ready for bed but she seemed to be clinging to me I hope she's ok. I went to leave and she grabbed my arm.
Evie: don't leave mum
Michelle: ok I will stay
She must just be tired!
