(Dipper's POV)
The duel between Gideon and I continues on. We continue to fight throughout the forest in the Barack of night. Darkness surrounding us. The feeling that was telling me something bad was about to happen subsided when Gideon showed up. It now, it has returned.
We continue to fight through the forests of Gravity Falls. I hear a rumbling noise, Gideon and I stop fighting. He must hear it also. I then see the ground beneath me tart to crack. Gideon notices it too. I see the ground under him creak also.
I yell, "RUN!!!!!"
Gideon and I run and the ground beneath us gives away. A sink hole formed. I start to fall down the hole. I throw my sword onto the surface. I grab onto a tree route that is sticking out the side of the hole's wall. I see Gideon holding onto the ledge and he then pulls himself up. I start to swing and I build up the momentum I need. I let go and I fly up to the surface.
I land on my face. I stand up and I brush the dirt off of my face. I pick up my sword that is on the ground. I walk over to the sinkhole. Man, it's deep. I look up and I see Gideon staring at me from across the sinkhole. I step back, away from the sinkhole.
I say, "Gideon, we don't have to do this. It's pointless."
"You think this is pointless?! I want justice for you getting me locked up!"
"I know Gideon, but it wasn't completely your fault. It was your thirst for power that got you locked up. It was the journals that did it to you. But, I found out who the author is."
"Who is it?"
"It's Stanford!"
