"I can't find a date to the prom tonight Hayden is not going and mums making me go this sucks and everyone else has a date" I complained to mason, he laughed at my frustration about going to the prom alone
"Not everyone has a date" he reassured me "how about we go together and we hang out since we both have no dates" he asked
I could see the hopefulness in his eyes he really wanted me to go with him I was going to just ditch the prom but I saw mason was really wanting me to go his emotional state was proof
"Fine we will hang out for a few minutes and drink some punch and then we will hang at your place deal"
"Deal" he smiled and we shook on it
At lest mason will be exited all day
"I have to go to my next class I'll pick you up tonight okay"
"Sure" I reassured him and he left me in the Hall, I had a free period and I was bored out of my mind so I sat on the Lacrosse stands playing a game on my phone "uhhhuhum" some coughed tapping my shouleder I looked up to see Hayden "hey baby" it came out awkward wow is it weird calling someone baby
"Guess what mum says I can go with you to the prom tonight" she smiles her gorgeous smile I was going to tell her 'sure I would love for us to go' but then mason would be disappointed
"Actually I promised mason I would be his date" I whispered looking down so unfair
"Oh that's okay I'll just go with one of my friends see later" I knew she was disappointed to but I did the right thing, I hate my life.

I wore my suit and mason arrived on time i sat in his car "how's my date" I joked and poked his cheek " hey no poking the driver" he laughed shoving me "your not driving yet" I was about to poke his ribs until he said "I'm turning on the ignition I'm driving"
I pouted at him "awww" I folded my arms and slouched in the car seat
"Hey don't do the puppy act on me that doesn't work" he said but his heart skipped a little and I knew it was working
We entered the party and the place was packed we awkwardly stood around the edge of the gym "I don't think we fit in here" I said feeling a little uncomfortable everyone was dancing but us
"How about I get us some punch" I told mason he nodded and I left for the bench I was waiting in a queue 'omg its soooo lonnng' I complained to myself when in actual fact there where only two people in fount of Me
and I just arrived
I kept hearing commotion coming from behind me I turned my Wolfie hearing on and I heard masons voice
"I'm just here to have some fun can you please leave me alone" mason said not wanting trouble
"Leave you alone" a boy laughed
"Your already alone" another one said "hey quit it" mason said fiercely, I think they pushed him
"What faggot can get a date" the third boy laughed
It was my turn at the table but instead of getting drinks I marched back to mason empty handed I stood right beside him and put my arm around his waste
"Actually I'm his date" I growled eyeing all of them "but what about you three where are your dates"
They all looked at each other and then looked everywhere else
"Ha noobs can't get a date" I laughed to mason and he was smiling and I knew he was thankful "come on babe let's dance" I said making sure the three assholes think me and mason where actually together.

I put my arms around his waist and he put his arms around my neck and we swayed to the song I actually started to enjoy it a bit and the song grew on me and I sang along with it and mason joined in "look at the stars look how they shine for you and everything you do yea they where all yellow" I sang to mason as we swayed
"I came along I wrote a song for you and all the things you do and it was called yellow" He sang back we were both smiling

i breathed not bothering to sing as I stared at masons lips and when the song finished we completely stopped and our lips connected
"So this is what you ment by going with mason" Hayden smiled not at all mad. I pushed mason off of me " not what it looks like Hayden" I began "yeah we weren't doing anything" mason said backing me up
"Surrrrrreeee" she said sarcastically and walked away smiling I looked back at mason and he was trying not to laugh " yep we stayed long enough let's go play ps3" I grabbed masons by the hand and took him to his car.
"Not a word mason" I ordered looking him in the eyes " I'm okay with closets" he teased "me too" I winked
