Chapter 24

"Mama?" Annica said. "Yes angel?" I smiled at my daughter looking up at me. "I want a baby brother. Can we go buy one?" She asked out of nowhere and very bluntly. I couldn't help but let a giggle escape my lips. "What about Aiden? He's your brother" I said looking at a sleeping Nate and Aiden. "But he's older mommy. I want a little brother. Like littler than me" she said. "Here's what we will do, okay? Listen closely. I will talk to daddy and we will send a letter to the people who bring babies to homes and see if they answer your little request, okay? What if they brought you a baby sister, would you be upset?" I asked pulling her hair into a loose pony tail. "I wouldn't be upset. Because then I'd have a girl close to my age!" She smiled. "What're we talking about girls your age?" Nate groaned softly. "I'll tell you in a bit. It's quite important to lil miss here" I smiled at Annica who was smiling widely. She hopped of our bed and ran out. "I'm gonna carry him to his room. Then you can tell me about whatever that was" he chuckled lifting up the sleeping boy and walking across the hall. Im still in shock by Annicas question. Like can I handle another child? What if this time it's twins, since it skips generations? Of course I'd like another child but I always thought two was perfect for me. "So," Nate said sitting next to me, drawing my attention. "What was Annica taking about?" He said looking at me. "She told me that she wants us to go buy her a baby brother" I said laughing and looking at my legs. "To buy one?" He chuckled, looking at me(like pic above ok 😍). "Only she could think of that," he chuckled. "And I told her you and I would write a letter to the people who bring babies home and hoped they'd answer her request for a baby brother but I asked if she'd be upset if she got a baby sister, ya know, since she doesn't know how babies come to be? And she said she wouldn't be upset" I told him. "Would you ever consider another?" He asked. "I don't know. I thought about it while she was questioning me. I'd love another but two was always perfect for me. What about you?" I asked. He nodded, "It'd be my pleasure to have another with you, but it's only be if you want another. Obviously Annica wants another sibling." He said. "I want another, I really do. But I don't know about the pain again" I giggled. "Understandable. If I could switch places with you and deliver the savage child, I would just so I didn't have to see you in pain" he said. "Really?" I laughed. "No you wouldn't." I giggled. "You're right, I sure the hell wouldn't. But I really hate seeing you in pain like that" he laughed, making me laugh. "Maybe eventually. I wonder how my Aiden would feel with another younger sibling" I smiled. He shrugged. "I can't imagine he'd be upset about it" he laughed. "I mean he loves Annica a lot, as much as he says he wants to give her away, he really loves her" he said, making me laugh.

"Uncle Sammy leave me alone!" Annica yelled squirming out of his arms. "You don't love me, huh?" He pouted. "Go. Awayyyyy!" She pouted. Sam finally let go, "Fine but don't come running back" he said and wrapped his arm around Julianna. "Jack and Mads are coming over" Nate said. I mentally sighed, "Heard that" Nate chuckled. I smiled, "Aiden be social God" I said as he sat on my phone. "Mama when was this?" He asked holding my phone to my face showing a picture. It was when Nate and I first met and hung out for the first time. "The first time daddy and I hung out," I smiled at the memory. He nodded and kept scrolling. He came to one when I was still pregnant with Aiden, "Mama your belly is huge here! Why?" He asked. I giggled. "That belly has you in it" I smiled. He scrunched his nose up, just the way Nate does. "How?" He asked confused. "Okay so here's a little scenario. A mommy and a daddy love eachother, right?" He nodded, "like you and daddy!" He said. I nodded. "Right. Well, when they love eachother, the daddy gives the mommy a baby?" I said not making any sense. "Ohhhhhh okay" he laughed. I sighed, thanking myself that he understood this nonsense I made up. "Annica wants us to go 'buy' her a baby brother" I said to Sam. He chuckled. "So are you going to?" He asked. I shrugged. "We talked about it but we may eventually." I laughed laying my head on Nate's shoulder. "I don't want another sibling" Aiden said. "Whys that?" I said. "Well then the baby will get al of the attention just like Annica does. I miss when it was all on me" he sighed. "That's not true though. I bring all the attention to my kids equally." I smiled hugging him tightly. "I love you too" he chuckled. "Would you be happy if you had another sibling?" I asked him. "Possibly. Id like helping you again" he smiled rubbing his hand in my hair. I kissed his forehead, "well I appreciate those helping hands of yours" he smiled. Nate took a picture of Aiden and I having hour little mother-son moment. Nate wakes over to the door as the doorbell rings, revealing Jack and Madison. "Hey guys, come in" Nate said.

11 pm/////

"Children, bed, now" I said pointing to the stairs. They huffed and groaned, "But mommy," Aiden tried arguing, failing because he was too tired. "Nope up" I laughed. I walked up, tucking them both in tightly and kissing their heads. I went back down to everyone in the kitchen. "Okay we need to keep it down a bit, kids are finally in bed" I said. Madison looked disgusted at me, "Can I help you wipe that look off of your face?" I asked smiling at her. She gasped and grabbed Jacks arm. "Your gonna let her talk to me like that, baby?" She asked. "Well you also have no right to look at her the way you did. She's like my sister" he said. She huffed and sat down. That's right, sit down. I sat on Nates knee while he sat on the bar stool. He placed his hand on my knee and kissed my neck behind my ear. "Hey I said eventually. Not right now" I giggled. He laughed against my skin and kissed my cheek. "Guys stop being goals!" Julianna laughed. I smiled and shrugged, "What can I say?" I laughed with her. "I'm tired baby, can we go?" Madison said yawning on Jacks lap. "I'm hanging with my friends, though. I hardly see them now since these two have kids" he said. "Friends over your girl? Wow okay" she groaned. "It's not that, it's just I use to be able to chill with them all the time but since they had kids it's hard!" He argued. "Whatever. I just want to go home" she huffed sitting opposite to Jack now. "Whatever. Let's go then" he groaned, obviously upset he had to leave. "Bye guys. See you around, i guess" he sighed walking out. "G, just call and we can plan a day together" i told him. He smiled and nodded. "Wow she really is pushy" I said as they left. "I got mixed feelings about her" Nate said. "You best not have any feelings like that about her" I said looking at him. "Course not. I meant like she's chill but clingy and really, really demanding" he said. "Where as you, you go with what's going" he smirked. "I love you" I laughed.

What a life mine has come to be. I have the perfect husband, amazing ass friends, two beautiful children and possibly one more to come in the future.
