Chapter 38

"How were they?" I asked Kami as I grabbed their bags. "Well, they were good. Annica got sick from too much candy and Ethan didn't sleep at all so he's pretty crabby. Aiden has a headache but I think he said it's going away" she informed me. "Oh boy, so it's going to be an interesting day at the Maloley house, isn't it?" I giggled "maybe just a little." She laughed placing Ethan into his carrier while he cried. Annica and Aiden said goodbye and went to the car. "Alright I'll take the screaming child home to get him off your chest. Thank you so much again" I smiled, kissing her cheek. "Not a problem. Have a great week baby! Love you guys. Tell Nathan I said hello" she said. I nodded and walked out to the car and buckled Ethan in. "Can he stop screaming?!" Annica whined. "Annica be nice. Grandma said he didn't sleep" I said. "But I listened to him ALL night like this!" She argued. "I don't care. Deal with it" I said driving us home. "Where's daddy?" She asked. "At home" I said. "why?" She asked. "Does it matter why?" I asked her. She stopped with the questions and was silent the whole way home.

When we got to the house, Ethan had fallen asleep which I was thankful for. That is, until I picked up his seat and carried him in. Then he started crying again. "Baby shhh it's okay" I sad, picking him up and having Aiden being his seat inside. "What's wrong?" Nate pouted when he saw Ethan crying. "No sleep" I explained. He nodded and took him from my arms. He began singing to him lightly while I walked into the bathroom to shower. Fifteen minutes later, I was more than clean and done with my shower. "Babe, where's the baby?" I asked him. He pointed next to him, "sleeping finally" he smiled. I nodded and layed next to Nate while scrolling through Instagram. "Baby girl look" Nate said showing me his phone. I took his phone and read the tweet. "When bae says no" and had a picture of Nates pouting face that I posted weeks ago. "Haha aw look at you! It's so true too!" I giggled softly, trying not to wake Ethan. He rolled over so he was now facing Nate and curled into his side. "God why are all of our kids like you?" He laughed. "What do you mean?" I smiled. "They all curl up into me like you do" he smirked. "They know how it goes" I smiled back. "Why can't one of them be like me?" He pouted. "Hey, little one over here is only one. You never know how he'll be when he's older" I laughed. Right around then, Ethan started whining and eventually woke up. "Hey there baby" I smiled picking him up. He smiled his cute little baby smile and drooled all down my shoulder. "Mmm lovely" I laughed, taking a towel to wipe it off. "Is my baby hungry?" I said, poking his cheeks. He nodded widely and bounced in my arms. "Well I'm gonna go feed the monster. Go find Turner in Aidens room" I told Nate. "TURNER COME" he yelled. "Babe! I could've done that" I said covering Ethan's ear. He chuckled and Turner ran in, jumping on the bed. (No I didn't forget they had Turner. It's just who wants to add pets into every chapter? Lol anyways). "Mom can Jace come over tonight?" Aiden asked me. "I suppose so. What about Cass?" I asked. "We aren't talking right now so uh" he said rubbing his neck. "What? Why?" I asked while feeding Ethan. "Cause' she got mad at me for talking to her friend. I was only helping her friend stand up because she tripped and her books went everywhere" he sighed. "Did you tell her this? Invite her over and talk it out. Aiden this is how your dad and I broke up many times before. Because one of us got caught talking to other people and someone would take it out of proportion. Have her and Jace over okay?" I said. He nodded, "Thanks mama love you" he smiled, kissing my cheek. "Love you too buddy" I said. He went off into the living room while Nate crossed his path and playfully hit his arm. "Hey dad" he giggled. "Hey bud whatcha up to?" He smirked. "Inviting Jace and Cass over" he said, smiling back at me. Nate nodded and sat next to Aiden as they watched football. "Damnit! The Seahawks are losing!" Nate yelled. "Language!" I said. "Dang it!" He laughed changing his words. "Baby why aren't you eating anymore?" I pouted at Ethan. He started to cough, "Uh oh, he's gonna puke on you Stas." Nate said. "Stop don't even joke abo-" I said and that's when he puked all down the front of me. "Oh my- oh my god" I said trying not to laugh. Ethan began crying and clearly scared himself. "Nate go start his bath please" I said. He nodded and made his way up the stairs while I stripped out of the t-shirt I was wearing. Thank god I had the sports bra underneath that I could walk around in for now. I brushed Ethan's hair back and pull his shirt follow by his pants so that he was just in his diaper. "Cmon baby lets go clean you up and calm you down" I said picking him up.

"Is Annica sleeping?" I asked Nate. He nodded. "Jace, Aiden and Cass are in the basement." He said. "Sam is stopping by with G" he informed me. "How long are they staying? I was gonna go lay with Ethan in bed" I said, finishing his bath and drying him off. "For a few hours. I'm not really sure though" he said. "Well I'm gonna lay in here for a bit with him because I don't think he's feeling well" I said. I put him into his pajamas that say "I got my mamas attitude and my dadas personality" I smirked, taking a picture to post on snapchat. "Couldnt be any more true" I captioned it, posting it and sending it to Lexi and Julianna. He smiled at me and held his arms up high for me to pick him up. "What baby?" I smiled. "Baby wanna get picked up?" I smirked. "We here bitches!" Sam yelled. "LANGUAGE!" I yelled. "Right, kiddos in the house" he laughed. "I'll check on you in a bit okay?" Nate smiled kissing both Ethan and I. I nodded, turning on the tv. "Ahh" Ethan mumbled holding his hand out for the remote. He grabbed it and brought it to his mouth. "Yucky baby yucky" I giggled. "Mommy can I lay with you?" Annica asked. I nodded and she yawned, sliding into Nates side. "You know your uncles are here, right?" I smirked at my tired little girl. "Mhm but I'm too tired" she pouted. "I'll get Sam in her to tickle you" I smiled tickling her stomach. "No!" She laughed. "At least go say hi and give hugs" I said. She nodded and walked down there. Minutes later she returned with a bottle of water. "What's up?" I smiled at her while she pinched Ethan's cheeks. "I wanna lay with you and baby" she smiled. I nodded. "Sis-sisssyy" Ethan dragged. "Say Annica" she smiled. "Ahh-" he started, but stopped mid yawn. I giggled and kissed his forehead. "I'll be right back babe I'm gonna go say hi to uncle Sammy and uncle G quick" I told Annica. She nodded and played on Nates tablet. "Aye there's my sister and the baby" Sammy smirked. "Hi Samuel" I laughed. "Look at how big the dude is getting!" Sam and G said, amazed. "Yeah I know, don't remind me. He's getting heavier too" I laughed, pinching his cheeks which caused him to giggle. "My mans" G said, taking him from my arms. I smiled and fell into Nates chest. "What's up lil mama?" He smiled, kissing the top of my head. "Nothing, how's my boy and his friends? Have they eaten anything?" I asked. "Not that I'm aware of no" he said. I nodded, taking Ethan from Jack and going downstairs. "Hey mom," Aiden smiled. "Hi Mrs. Maloley." Jace and Cass waved. "You guys know you don't have to call me that. Call me Ana or Stasia... You guys hungry at all?" I asked. They nodded. "Should I order pizza or go out and get Taco Diner?" I asked. "Tacos!" They cheered. "Okay well I'll be back then" i smiled. "Annica!" I yelled. "Yes mama" she said, appearing at the top of the stairs. "Wanna go with me to get Taco Diner?" I smiled. "Yes!" She giggled. "Nathan, Annica and I are going to get tacos for everyone. Keep an eye on baby here and the kids downstairs" i said grabbing my keys and handing Ethan to Nate. "Yes sir" he smirked. "Be careful babe" he said kissing my cheek. I nodded in response and left.
