Carnival

Vic knocked on the door of Bee's house,  ready for the carnival. As the owner open the door he was amazed at what he saw.

A beautiful African American teen. She was wearing black skinny jeans, black boots, and a yellow and black striped tank top. To top it off her hair was stunning, instead of two buns, she let it all run free.

Vic couldn't help but drool.

"Are you going to say something Sparky?"

"Oh..", he started," I mean, you look beautiful."

She seemed startled by his response.

Regaining her stance she replied, while blushing, "Well..thanks Sparky"

This is my chance to get the kiss for the bet. He looks so cute. She thought.

"Ready?"

She's so gorgeous, I should ask her to the dance. Before some other dimwit asks. He thought.

"Yep!"

Soon after arriving they stopped upon a strength test.

"I bet you can't reach the top" Bee challenged, "$20 for the winner"

"Oh, it is on!"

Vic grabbed the hammer and struck it to the bar. He reached 'Tuff and Buff'

"Beat that."

She did the same except reaching 'Tuffest and Buffest' the highest one.

"How did you win!"

"You owe me $20!"

He handed her the money and huffed.

"Hungry?" He asked.

"Starved, and a bit cold"

He quickly took of his jacket and wrapped it around her.

"Thanks.." She replied blushing.

So cliche, should off brought a jacket. She thought, even though she was enjoying it.

They went to a near bye stand and got hotdogs and lemonade.

Sitting down, he asked, "is this a date?"

"Umm...-"

"Oh...it's okay if you don't like me like that" he said disappointed.

Before she could reply his phoned buzzed.

"Sorry.. I gotta take that."

"Wai-" she started but he got up and left to take the call.

His parents had called him, asking him to come home, to finish up homework.

Afterwards, Vic took Bee home. The car ride was silent.

"Bye... umm..." He said.

"Vic I-"

Her phone buzzed.

"Bye.." He said.

"Oh, and Vic.."

"Yes?"

"I like you.. A lot.. More than a friend." She replied leaving door, leaving a confused Vic.

"In love with an idiot" she said, as she walked to the front of her house.
