Chapter 16:

I wore the necklace Harry had given me.

It made me miss him more...it made me want to fall in love with him all over again...it made me want to take back everything that had happened in the past few years and just go back to being engaged to him. Why did he have to mess it all up? We could be happily married by now... Key word: Happy.

Neither of us was happy at this point. Many would blame me, but wouldn't they do the same thing? I was afraid of being hurt again, no matter how sincere Harry looked at me. No matter how tempting his lips looked. No matter how much I wanted him back, I knew there was a high risk of being cheated on and left broken.

"Who gave you that necklace?" Liz asked. The four of us, including Liz, Pippa, and Alice, were all in Louis and Alice's flat just for the occasion of meeting up and spending some time together. This morning to the afternoon, we had spent time in the mall. We had shopped, gotten our nails done, and Pippa and Liz got their hair cut.

Liz, however, was the first person to ever notice the necklace hanging loosely from my neck. It was long, reaching towards my mid chest. I liked it that way though. The only downside was that it was hard to hide when I wanted to.

"Hey, that looks like Harry's," Pippa pointed out.

"Oh my god..." Alice whispered.

"Are you two back together?" Liz questioned.

"No!" I immediately said to all three of them. "It's not Harry's alright? He gave it to me."

"And you're wearing it?" Pippa asked. "I thought you hated his guts. Never wanted to see him again. Wished he never existed. Wished you never fell in love. Never-"

"We get the point Pippa," Alice rolled her eyes.

"He gave it to me. I don't know why I'm wearing it. I just...like it," I sighed. "But it's so hard to hate him sometimes... Maybe wearing it makes me feel a bit better about how much I have screamed and yelled at him, even if the piece of shit deserved it."

"You know why it's so hard to hate Harry?" Alice asked.

"Why?"

"Because you two are in love and are meant to be together forever. Oh my god, why did the two of you have to break up. It's the tragedy of most Directioners' lives!" Alice replied.

"Wait what?" Liz was confused. She didn't understand what Alice was ranting on and on about. When I met Alice, she was one of those obsessed fans of One Direction. At the time, I had been with Harry, but had lost my memory. I thought it was best to go back to the last place I remembered being, which was my hometown of Doncaster. That was where I met Alice, who didn't recognize me due to my hair color change and the colored contacts I had gotten.

"Rorry forever!" Alice cried.

"Wait- I'm so confused," Liz said. Her eyebrows were scrunches together in confusion, clearly not getting what Alice was talking about.

"It's a really long story," Pippa said, "I could probably write a book on how fucked up Rosie's life is. I could make a sequel to it too."

"My life isn't that dramatic."

"Hun, you lived with your aunt til you were eighteen before you were told you actually had a brother, four half-sisters, and your mother was alive. Then you realized your father was after you to kill you. Then you got into a car accident and lost your memory, including your time with Harry. Then, your father died. Then-"
