Hide and Seek

I called, the game is over.

Perhaps you didn't hear.

I called you again.

But still, you weren't here.

I looked for you everywhere.

Where do you hide?

The game is over.

Please come inside.

We were playing hide and seek.

Like cat and mouse.

You were the cat,

I played the mouse.

You were meant to find me.

Where did you go?

I called the game is over.

So why don't you come home?

They said you ran away.

I scream and cried no!

You were only hiding,

I told them so.

You weren't very good at playing,

cat and mouse.

You never looked before crossing the road.

You mistook me for something else.
