"You helped with the party, so you deserve to go first!!!" She shoved the hat in your face, not giving you much choice. Rolling your eyes at her persistence, you shuffled your hand around for a few seconds. Being bored, you grabbed whatever your hand was touching, pulling it out. What you picked was something you wouldn't have expected to be in a seven minutes in heaven hat.

It was a bright yellow smiley face sticker. But what caught your eye about it was the smile. It was more like a grin or smirk. You shivered slightly. It was just like his...

Your eyes widened in realization. Oh shit...

Rangiku went still, and the corners of her smile fell slightly. It remained though.

Pulling you up, she pushed you to the closet, opened the door, and shoved you in. But not before whispering harshly, "Touch him and you die." Shivering slightly, you rubbed your temples a bit. No one except Izuru and Rangiku knew about your crush on the guy. You hadn't even told Rangiku. You figured she had either picked up on it, or gotten Izuru to tell her when he was drunk.

Sighing, you close your eyes slightly. Seven minutes, right? Not that you would confess to him or anything...

"Something wrong?" His voice made you jump in startlement, your heart skipping a beat or two.

Opening your eyes, you saw Gin Ichimaru's face only a few centimeters from yours. A raging blush covered your cheeks as you answered, "No..."

He chuckled. "Ya sure? Yer face is red." This caused you to blush more and another chuckle came from the former captain. His usual grin crawled more over his face, causing you to shiver. It's not that you were scared, but it sent shivers down your spine every time. He sent shivers down your spine.

He leaned closer to you, making your heart race in response. What is he doing?! You asked yourself when he caressed your face. By now your foreheads were touching, his cool one contradicting with your hot one.

"Are ya scared?" He asked softly, as if he was worried about it, yet his grin still remained. You shook your head slightly, though yes, you were a bit scared.

He saw through this and sighed. Then he did something unexpected.

He kissed you softly.

Shock made you tense slightly. He pulled away, murmuring, "Don't be scared _________. I'm not going to hurt ya." His voice was sincere for once, and his grin gone. You knew he was being serious. When he didn't have his grin on, it meant he had something on his mind.

You didn't consider yourself as his best friend; that was Rangiku's role, but you were a good friend of Ichimaru's. Never did you really believe he would betray the Soul Society, and you still don't believe it completely. You knew him well enough to know he wouldn't do that.

"I-Ichimaru..." You mumbled your voice small and timid.

"What have I always told you ________? Call me Gin, not Ichimaru." His grin came back, but not as strong as it usually was.

You smiled slightly at this despite who he was. "Gin...What's on your mind?" His grin vanished and he smiled slightly, scratching the back of his neck a bit nervously.

"Ya can still tell that, huh?" He sat beside you against the wall, his smile replaced with a small frown. "Just some problem on my mind."

"A girl problem?" You asked teasingly, resulting in a chuckle from him.

"Actually, yes. I'm giving girl trouble."

"Really?" This surprised you. "What's wrong?"

"I like a girl but she probably doesn't like me back."
