Content: fluff, anxiety on the reader's side

based on this request on my tumblr blog:

How in all the flying hell did he GET OUT of the game?! How did he find out where we lived?! Whyd it take so long (as dumb a question as that is)?! Is he an established member of society or is he staying with us (though we can barely take care of ourselves) and we're going to help him?!

It's been 37 minutes to be exact, as the clock shows which hangs on the wall above Sylus's head.

37 minutes since your world has been turned upside down.

37 minutes where you try to make your brain work again.

37 minutes you spend staring at the white-haired man on the opposite side, lounging on that old worn-down sofa.

37 minutes and you still can't believe your eyes.

37 minutes And the only remaining thought in your brain is: Sylus is here. Sylus is HERE. SYLUS is HERE!!

37 minutes ago you waddled to the little chair at your desk to sit down and try to process what just happened. And still, you can't wrap your head around the fact that a fictional character you have a severe crush on and got self-aware a few months ago, now sits in front of you in your home. All flesh and blood and menacingly cocky. A proud satisfied aura hovers around him which is not helping in gathering your wits together. He looks even better in reality if this is possible and so damn huge and broad.

"It's been half an hour now, kitten." Sylus's voice breaks the silence that had settled in your tiny apartment. With a smug smile and tapping his fingers at his temple, crimson eyes observe you with amusement that twinkles in the gem-like depths. "Are you waiting for me to guess all those questions that ramble around in your head? Or are you actually going to ask them?"

Of course, you want answers. You NEED the answers to all the things that are short-circuiting your whole being.

How did he manage to get out of the game? How much trouble did he cause to achieve this goal? Is the spaceship from the news his? Is he going to stay here permanently? If yes, how should you manage both of your lives when you can barely handle your own? Is he able to help you with that, maybe get a job even?

You need to suppress a giggle at the thought of Sylus, a 1,90 m tall figure behind the cashier of a fast food chain, making burgers and fries. But it is quickly stopped by thinking of the consequences of his appearance.

What do you tell your landlord why a dragon in human disguise is now living with you? Is he even still a mystical being now in the real world? What do you tell your friends and family?

All these questions are running and circling in your brain. But none of it makes it to exit your mouth. Still unable to fully comprehend what is going on your body is petrified.
