The rest of chemistry was filled with Jackson ignoring me and me seething with anger. He was such a dick. I've been around and with jerks, but there was just something about him that made me tick. 2nd period was no better. There were so many dumb people that said dumb things that it made the class almost unbearable. Maybe it was the way Jackson looked a little too perfect or the way he smirked. Ok, I'm just going to stop myself there. Obviously, he was a big turn on, but I couldn't let him know that. HA. What kind of girl would I be if I didn't have a little fun first.

*Snap.* *Snap.* I focused on who was sitting in front of me. It was Jessie and Sara. They were snapping their fingers in my face.

"Hello. B, wanna come back to Earth?" Sara said. I grew annoyed with the snapping of their fingers and knocked their hands out of my face.

"You are always the one to become so easily angered," Jessie said with a small laugh.

"Well, maybe if my friends didn't rudely interrupt my thoughts. I wouldn't have to become angry." I hissed at them. They just rolled their eyes and continued eating their lunch.

We were sitting outside at a table eating the lunch I had left to go and pick up. We had an hour for lunch and we could eat whatever or wherever. It was just easier to stay on school grounds and not have to worry about traffic and being late since school wasn't that close to anything in our town.

"So, what's the deal with you and Jackson? He seems kind of mysterious." Jessie said.

"Yea, and what is the deal with all the smirking he does? He always looks like he's done something bad and he knows he won't get caught." Sara said, interrupting Jessie. If anyone else would have interrupted Jessie they probably wouldn't have a head anymore, but since Sara had done it she would live. Jessie just took a deep breath and rolled her eyes to calm herself down.

"And you say I'm the one with anger issues," I said with a laugh towards Jessie.

"Just forget about it and tell us about Jackson," she says impatiently.

"Well, where to begin? Jackson is a annoying, selfish, jerk. He also knows that I am a telepath and knows that since I can't read his thoughts it annoys me." I said. "Have you noticed the white in his hair or the almost orange colored eyes? Also, he touched my wrist and his skin felt like he was on fire. It was so weird."

"Yea. I thought I noticed his eyes, but I thought I was imagining it," said Sara. She was staring off into space and she looked as if she was pondering the meaning of life.

Whatever. I'm not going to let Jackson get under my skin. I might have slipped up in 1st period, but that's only because I didn't know what I was dealing with. I'll figure out what that little devil's plan is. Just watch me. I snapped back into reality and saw Jackson walking to the parking lot. We still had 30 minutes left for lunch so I assume he is leaving for food. (seniors can go off campus. Whoo Hoo.)

"Hey, I'm going to find out what jackasses problem is. See you guys in last period." I said. I gathered my things from the table and took off after him.

"Bye."

"Bye."

I was in the parking lot and I looked around to see where Jackson had gone. I spotted him getting into his car. I ran to him and right as I got there he tried to shut the door, but I nudged my hand between the car and the car door so he couldn't shut it. He let out a low growl.

"What do you think you're doing? Let go and let me leave." He said with a hint of anger in his voice.

"Nope. Not until you tell me why I can't read you. And don't give me some bullshit answer." I lowered myself down so that we were face to face. He leaned towards me and I thought he was about to kiss me so I moved back. I almost tripped too. Thankfully I didn't and I played it cool. He was getting out of the car now. HAHA, a kiss? What is wrong with me. He seemed annoyed.

"What is your deal cupcake? Miss me already?" He grinned and laughed. I enjoyed the fact that he was taller than I was, but I did not like the fact that he looked down on me. It annoyed me.

"In your dreams jackass." His back was leaning against the car. The door still open, so I was resting my left arm on the door. He stared to lean down very close to my ear.

"My dreams? I bet you would love to be in my dreams. I also bet you can read everyone else's thoughts and influence their dreams, but you can't read mine can you? I bet you want to know why." I could feel his hot breath on my neck as he softly spoke into my ear. He stood back up and rubbed his thumb finger across his bottom lip. OH MY GOD, THAT WAS SO SEXY. He grinned and I noticed his canine teeth were really sharp, but I guess that can be a normal thing. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves.

"Yes, I can. Everyone except yours and I want to know why!" I was getting agitated. No matter how sexy he was, I was going to get to the bottom of this. I don't like having my sense of power taken away from me. I liked being in control and knowing everything. "Why are you being so difficult? You obviously know what I can do and you don't intimidate me, so why do you just quit playing your little game and tell me."

"Fine." I looked up at him. I was shocked he had agreed to tell me, but I knew there had to be something. I just don't know what yet.

"But after school. You will meet me at Starbucks and I will tell you then. 3:00 p.m. and don't be late. I hate when people are late." He let out a low growl and having said this he closed his car door and took off. I smiled knowing I was finally going to get some answers. I heard the bell ring for next period and I ran to class. Guess Jackson wasn't going to finish his first day of school.

I walked into class and sat down in my seat. I saw the kid from this morning sitting behind me. I laughed to myself and shook my head. I glanced at the clock, it was almost one. School let out at 1:45 for seniors. The rest of them didn't get to leave until 3:15. HAHAHAHA I LOVE BEING A SENIOR. This class went by surprisingly fast. Jackson was supposed to be in the class with me, but he obviously was nowhere to be found. When the bell rang I gathered my things and walked to my car. Jessie and Sara had caught up with me outside. I hated only having one class with them. We said our goodbyes and I told Jessie that I was coming over later to borrow some clothes. Sara said she would join us later.

I opened my car door, threw by bag into the passenger seat, and revved up the engine. My car was still blasting the ACDC CD my dad had made me. (The one I was listening to earlier when we started this little story.) I zoomed out of the parking lot towards home. I had 1 hour and 15 minutes until I had to meet Jackson and I only lived about 10 minutes away from the school. Once I get home I'm always alone. My parents owned an insurance company and worked until 7 o'clock every night and now they were away for the entire week. Having left yesterday, I would be home alone until the housekeeping lady came around to clean. I loved my house though. It was two stories and very modern. Glass windows and natural light everywhere. Most of the colors were black and white with hints of gold and silver decorations. The kitchen was my favorite part. Why you ask? Duh, because FOOD.

I put my keys in the bowl by the door and walked upstairs to my room. I had a large room considering it was the whole upstairs, well besides the game room. I plopped down onto my bed and took a deep breath. It has been an eventful day, to say the least. I quickly checked the time and realized it was already 2:00. I changed into my workout clothes and tennis shoes. Since I get angry so easily I practice kickboxing and mixed martial arts for anger release. I know how to knock a skilled fighter on his ass. Trust me, I've done it multiple times. I hopped down the stairs and down to the basement/gym. I practiced for about 25 minutes. I pretended that the punching bag was Jacksons face and let all of my anger out. After I was done with my workout, I went upstairs to take a quick shower. I changed into some blue jean shorts and a v-neck tee with black combat boots. I let my hair dry naturally, which was wavy. I grabbed my bag and keys and got into my car. I decided to change out the ACDC CD for Mumford and Sons, a more chill vibe ya know. I finally arrived at Starbucks and walked through the door. There he was, just sitting with two coffees waiting for me.

I was finally going to get the answers I deserved.
