Chapter 1

Louis nervously fiddled with the edge of his sweater sleeve as his new school came into view.

He was absolutely terrified, for more reasons than one. First, it was a new school, which is always scary. Two, he was a tiny male omega who had no clue how to defend himself and Three, the school Louis is enrolled in is mostly full of Alphas.

"Okay Boo, good luck." Louis' mom says, kissing Louis' forehead softly.

"Bye." Louis says softly, climbing out of the car. Louis pulls his sweater sleeves over his hands, a nervous habit of his.

Louis could smell the Alpha's before he even entered the school. Louis fixes his fringe and then slowly walks into the the school.

When Louis enters, he knows he's late. The halls are empty and quiet. Louis nearly whimpers at the thought of entering class late and having everyone look at him.

Louis remembers where the front office is from the brief tour he had during the Christmas break. Louis quietly enters the office, his head low, hands shaking nervously.

"How can I help you sweetie?" A nice voice asks softly.

"Um...I'm new and...I just came for my schedule?" Louis says quietly, unsure of what exactly he's supposed to say.

"Your name sweetheart?" The lady behind the desk asks softly.

"Louis Tomlinson."

The lady nods and then moves around some papers on her desk. "Here you go sweetie, your a little late, but that's okay. School starts at 8:15, but you can be here anytime after 7:15. Your first class is just down this hallway."

"Thank you." Louis says softly, grabbing his schedule.

Louis exits the hallway and glances at his schedule. English. Yay.

Louis finds the classroom and pauses outside of the door. He takes a deep breath and then he makes a small fist and knocks softly on the door, with his sweater paw.

The door opens to a nice looking man with kind grey eyes. "Oh! You must be Louis, come on in." He says excitedly, opening the door for Louis. "I'm Mr.Turner."

Louis cautiously steps in, already being hit the strong smell of Alpha. All eyes snap to him and Louis notices some of the boys in the front row sniff the air.

"Omega?" The teacher asks quietly from behind Louis. Louis nods, dropping his head in shame. There aren't a lot of male omegas and some are considered freaks, Louis often thinks about how easier it would have been if he was a Beta.

"Okay class! This is Louis! He's new here, obviously. Everyone be nice. Anything you want to say about yourself Louis?"

Everyone shifts their attention back to Louis and his face goes red. Louis just shakes his head and continues to stare at his feet.

"Okay then... You can sit...um..." Mr.Turner looks for an empty seat and when Louis looks up, some Alphas are shoving people out of seats. An Alpha with dark hair and blue eyes shoves a Beta to the floor and then winks at Louis, holding his hand out towards the-now-empty chair.

"Guys." Mr.Turner scolds and then his eyes light up. "Oh look a seat by Niall! He's an omega too, that's perfect. Niall raise your hand please."

A blonde boy with bright blue eyes raises his hand and gives Louis a bright smile.

Louis gives a small smile to the blonde omega and then he begins to walk between the aisles of desks. Louis is nearly there when a hand grabs his ass. Louis whimpers and looks around with wide eyes for help.

"Oi! Get your hands off of him!" Niall shouts and Louis takes note of his Irish accent.

The Alpha pulls Louis into his lap and licks his neck. Louis whimpers and tries to climb out of the Alphas grip "Back off bitch." The Alpha growls at Niall.

A boy with big muscles, brown eyes and short brown hair jumps up quickly. "You better watch you fucking mouth. Don't talk to my mate like that." The brown eyed boy growls.

"Then tell your mate to leave me and Louis here alone."

The brown eyed boy looks at Niall with slightly sad eyes "Babe-"

"Liam! So help me I will leave you if that son of a bitch continues to manhandle that poor omega." Niall shouts and the brown eyed boy, Liam turns back to the douchie Alpha.

"Get your fucking hands off of him!" Liam screams and the Alpha pushes Louis out of his lap in fear. Louis falls to floor and he simply curls in on himself.

"You guys done yet?" Mr.Turner asks, not being able to do anything since he's merely a Beta. "Josh, keep your hands off of the new student." Mr.Turner says before turning his attention to Louis who is sitting on the floor, knees at his chest, head hidden.

"Liam! Help him up." Niall demands and Liam grumbles under his breath, but does it anyways, because he loves his omega.

"Louis? Are you okay?" Liam asks softly. Louis nods and sniffles slightly, lifting his head. Why couldn't he be a Beta? Why?

Liam scoops up the small omega in his arms and then sets him down in the chair next to his. Niall sits on the opposite side of Louis, ready to fight a bitch if anyone tries to touch his new friend again.

The rest of the period is spent with Liam and Niall comforting the small boy and promising to keep him safe.
