"Don't be a pansy!" I yelled after watching Mark down his first shot of the night, a shot of Fireball.

His eyes were squeezed shut and his hand was pressed firmly on his chest.

"Pansy? Who me?" He said whilst coughing.

We waited patiently for the bartender to come back around so Mark could grab one for me.

"Shelby?"

"(Y/n)!? Oh my gosh!"

The bartender just happened to be one of the girls I worked with at Le Peep.

"Can I get you something?" She asked cheerfully. "I won't tell if you won't tell." She whispered smirking as she pulled out a shot glass.

I told her I wouldn't tell a soul and that I wanted the same thing Mark had.

"Fireball gotcha." She smiled

Mark rubbed my back gently and stared forward at the TV displaying a baseball game.

"You driving?" I chuckled as I held the shot firmly in my hand.

"Only if your staying at my house." He smirked

"If I drink I won't be able to go home, my mom would have my ass. So ya." I stated.

"Do it." He pressured

I brought the glass up to my lips and downed it all. The burn trailed down my throat. I coughed and gripped my shirt until it subsided.

"Who's the pansy now?" Mark teased

"Round 2?" Shelby asked.

"For me, yeah." Mark replied.

She filled him up another glass while I regained myself from the previous one. He guzzled it and slammed it on the counter dramatically. A long sigh escaped his lips and he shook his head back and forth with his eyes clenched shut. Shelby chuckled and wandered off to another customer. Mark recovered rather quickly and got up to use the restroom. I sat staring at the TV, watching a Budweiser commercial.

"Excuse me is this seat taken?" A man's voice said from behind me, gesturing to Mark's spot.

"Uh yeah actually it is."

He sat down anyway, totally ignoring what I had said.

"Can I buy you a drink?"

"I'm good thanks."

He draped his arm around my shoulder and leaned in close so his lips brushed against my ear. His breath was hot and smelled of alcohol.

"I'm gonna ask again, and this time you'll say yes." He spoke into my ear in a threatening tone.

I shrugged him off my shoulder and he looked at me sweetly.

"Love, can I buy you a drink?"

"Do you need me to spell it? No."

"That's not what I told you to do." He growled

"Well it's not gonna happen." I practically spat, turning my head back to the television.

"Oh it will." He said smugly, his hands gliding against my kneecap.

Mark came up behind me and slung his arm over my shoulders. "I'm sorry babe, did I miss anything?"

I sighed in relief at his touch and felt a smile grow across my face as I saw the guy slowly connect his gaze with Mark's.

"Beat it." Mark hissed
