More Than This

Prologue

I'm Evie. If you don't know me, you probably know my mother; the Evil Queen from Snow White.

She raised me on the Isle of the Lost and taught me everything I know. I never questioned any of it, that is, until now.

After going to a new school overflowing with goodness, I learned that being good.... Isn't bad.

I guess a lot of the stuff I thought to be true is just my mother filling my head with thoughts. Like... She always said I needed to marry a prince. She said that was the only way I would ever be happy.

But now I realize that you don't need a prince to be happy.

I also learned, thanks to my new friend Doug, that I don't need to pretend to be dumb to get a guy to like me.

I can just be.... Me.
