There's a girl I know who's never stopped smiling in all the time I've known her.

There's a girl I know who's worth fighting a thousand wars for.

There's a girl I know who's battled to long, and the scars to prove it are painted across her arms.

There's a girl I know who has tried many times to take her life and leave the world behind her.

There's a girl I know who survived her nightmares and kept her heart beating.

There's a girl I know who found love, comfort, happiness and safety in another.

There's a girl I know who's joy is my priority, even if she looks to someone else for it.

There's a girl I know who deserves the love she's found, even if I can't give it to her.

There's a girl I know who I'll never be able to call mine, but as long as she's safe and happy it doesn't upset me.

And if the girl I know is reading this now, you've done amazingly so far.
