Next adventure we were in a soft ball field. "IT'S SOFTBALL LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" Caine yelled through the mic "O-Oh We're doing this now?" Ragatha asked "was this one of your suggestions?" I asked "yeah! I love Softball" she smiled "beautiful night for a game! Isn't that right bubble?" Caine announced "BLEEEEH!" "... We've got the big tops playing against the evil big tops!" Caine announced. We looked to see opposite versions of ourselves.

"SUP F***KERS I'M EVIL POMNI!"

"I'm Evil Ragatha! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Coach Dictatorer here!"

"U-Uh hi guys! I'm Evil Jax."

"Evil Orbseman reporting for Duty!"

"I'm bazooble! Hashdjebxunsgsm"

And evil me just rolled her eyes and flipped us off.

Ragatha looked puzzled "that uh... wasn't in my suggestion" she mumbled "why don't I get an evil clone..." Gangel asked. "Alright team! I might not know what's going on! Or who is going on! Or when is going on! Or Why is going on! But I do know where is going on! And it's out on that field! So let's go break some tailbones team!" Kinger announced to us. Then evil Jax walked over "H-Hey guys! I hope we all have a fun game! No matter who ends up winning" he stuttered. "... I'm wanna kill that guy." Jax said with 0 Hesitation. We watched as Evil Jax walked back next to Evil me. He waved and evil me just punched him. Then we saw Ragatha get out. "HA! GET OWNED!" Jax yelled. "F**K yeah! That's what I'm sayin'!" Evil Pomni yelled at him. "Ah she's cool..." Jax smiled. Zooble then whispered a prank to me. We were gonna put him in a maid dress. "Wait wouldn't he get angry?" I asked "that's the point" they laughed back. I looked at Gangels drawing. "Add some eye liner" I whispered. She giggled and added it. Then we all voted.

As soon as Jax saw I lost it. "WHAT THE HECK!? WHO DID THIS!" He yelled in pure rage. He then spotted Gangel... "YOU!" he then began to chase Gangel! "Jax! Your up to bat!" Kinger yelled "YEAH BUT- DON'T WANNA- I LOOK LIKE THIS THOUGH!" He yelled "seems fitting for you though. I figured you'd be into this." Zooble smiled. "What does that mean? What's that supposed to mean!?" Jax yelled "I'm just having fun! I forgot you hated fun" Zooble smirked. "I DON'T WANNA WEAR THIS!" he yelled. His breathing becoming heavy. This was the first time I had seen Jax truly angry. I felt kinda bad. "JAX! BAT!" Kinger yelled at him. Jax grabbed the Bat. "I'm gonna kill you when this is over" he glared at he left. "Okay but why does that suit him" I laughed "I HEARD YOU Y/N I KNOW YOUR BEHIND THE DAMN EYELINER!" He yelled at me. I laughed harder.

As Jax was up doing his turn I just smiled. Recently I had started feeling weird around Jax. Especially since that stargazing hand holding thing I did. I just smiled as he angrily batted. Evil Jax tried to compliment him but Jax shut him down. "I mean he's not wrong" I whispered to myself. Pomni looked at me. "Hey, uh... What's with you and Jax?" She asked "huh? What about us?" I asked in confusion, "well you say you hate him a lot and yet you still hang out with him and check up on him" she shrugged "...to say the truth I don't know. He is an annoying a**hole. and he is chaotic. Like if that man got his hands on a nuclear bomb we'd all be f**ked. But... I don't know I guess I just find being around him enjoyable? First I did it because I wanted to understand him I guess? Thought maybe if I understood him better maybe he'd quit being a jerk. But I just... God I don't know where I'm going with this. He's fun to be around despite chaotic and a**hole tendencies. And... being around him...makes me happy?" I replied. She just kept looking at me. "Pomni. What do you want me to say here? that I like him or something?" I asked with a raised eyebrow "no! Well not that exactly... Just- I guess I've always wondered what your deal is with him, I wondered since the Candy Canyon kingdom" she shrugged "right... Well I don't know either."

We both went silent for a bit before I sighed. "he drives me crazy it's true...but at the same time...I wonder if the reason I didn't abstract in the mansion...is because he was there. And he didn't push me away." I mumbled. "You...You nearly abstracted?" She asked sounding alarmed. "Mhm. I uh... I don't like being left alone. And haunted houses always did a good job at leaving me in tears. And combine that with the fact that I was starting to overthink about my life before all this...home...my brother... wondering how my mom was...she... she's depressed and... She only got worse after dad died...me and my brother only had eachother. I took care of everything. And I was scared. I was scared about being alone. And I was scared about what was happening outside of all this. But then Jax found me. He let me cry. He let me hug him. And.... And I was happy that he allowed me to be vulnerable for a bit. Without telling people or making fun of me...or making a big deal about it...i don't like having people fuss over me just...feels like a big waste of time. He didn't push me and...That showed me there was more to him than a big dumb jerk who lives to hurt people." I admitted. Pomni took in the information and nodded. Then Ragatha sat next to Pomni and she started to talk to her.

Then Jax purposely got out and sat next to me. "Having fun?" Pomni asked "oh you know it." Jax said sarcastically. "Oh look! Gangels up to bat! How do you think this is going to go?" Jax smirked. "Will you stop trying to force her to act like you?" Ragatha asked him. "Oh yeah I should force her to be happy all the time instead, right?" Jax responded with a smirk. "Well it's better than turning her into an insensitive jerk who deflects everything!" Ragatha yelled back "I can think for myself guys" Pomni replied "hey I ain't forcing anything on ya" Jax smirked "and then you just act like you never do anything wrong and everyone loves you when in reality YOU JUST F**K EVERYTHING UP FOR EVERYONE ELSE!" She screamed "okay let's just call down a bit-" Pomni started "WHAT!? you said it's fine to be a jerk sometimes!" Ragatha yelled. She then stopped. "I'm sorry Pomni. That wasn't very cool of me." She said quietly. "No apology for me? That's no sad." Jax smirked again. Ragatha sighed and turned away. "I'm sorry Jax...for bringing up that thing earlier." She mumbled as she left. Jax's face went from cocky to something I couldn't make out. "So... Do you want to talk... about that...?" Pomni asked. "I'm in a maid outfit what do you think?" He replied. Suddenly he saw some corn next to him and jumped, he suddenly clung onto me. I laughed. He immediately let go. Pomni stood up to talk to Ragatha.

"...do you think Ragatha's okay?" I asked "who can say." Jax shrugged. "That's fair enough I guess... I'll check on her once she's back...maybe...you should also apolo-" Suddenly Jax turned back from being a maid. "Oh great I'm not a vegan anymore" he said before running to kill Evil Jax. I didn't even get to bat but you know what? I'm not complaining. I hated sports in school. I watched as Jax killed evil him and laughed. I then saw Ragatha staring at me. I smiled and waved at her and she looked away. I was confused by that.

Once we got back to the circus I watched as Jax and Pomni walked away. They were smiling and talking. I smiled at that, I was glad Jax had made a new friend that he didn't constantly torment. But Ragatha looked upset and walked away alone. I followed her.
