Tris's POV~
"What the fuck Caleb?!?" I spit out in a growl
A frown temporarily lives on his face at the moment and I'm utterly confused

"Beatrice, okay let me explain please before you jump to outrageous assumptions"
I notice he looks down at tile as we are standing in the kitchen
He moves to lean up against the stove, I'm so filled with mixed emotions and utter confusion I could cook him on the stove as dinner but I'll let him explain first.

"Caleb, okay how I start this response I love you and you know that you're my brother and I am immensely grateful for you protecting me and feeling the need to protect me because that's what family does for each other but I've had a few conversations and encounters with Tobias and I must say he's incredibly nice and sincere and I don't know what past you've had with him or what you're not telling me but listen I want to get to know him better and I shouldn't have to ask your permission as to what specific individuals I can befriend so I'm not asking for your permission on this one."
And with that his face becomes slightly blushed and his eyebrows furrow with wrinkles appearing on his forehead

I take notice of his emotions so I walk up to him and wrap my arms around his back and I feel his arms find their way down to my ass again.
Tobias isn't around so why is he putting in a performance?
I pull back but am stopped by his arm pulling my chest closer to his chest, he brings his ear down to mine and whispers into my ear ever so slightly

"I enjoyed our kiss by the way" I feel his lips peck a feathery kiss onto my neck

My eyes widen but I'd rather just let this incident fall so I quickly scurry up to my room and take out my Chemistry book to begin my assignment

'Oh shit' I think to myself I need the page numbers for the Chemistry Homework assignment and Tobias told me to text him for the page numbers, I doubt he'll even respond after what he just witnessed, he probably a thinks of me as a pushover who's into incest unless he doesn't know we're siblings and maybe just thought we were dating

With hesitation I decided to text him any way

Okay so about what happened a little while ago I want to apologize on my Brothers behalf, that was Caleb my brother and he explained to me that he's just trying to protect me which is understandable as far as family goes, he mentioned that you were bad news, and to my knowledge I have no idea why he would think that honestly you're really down to earth, I was wondering if we could just wipe our memories of that little scene and just start a healthy friendship, also if it's not to much to ask I was wondering if you could tell me the page numbers to the Chemistry homework assignment? I hope you're having a lovely evening

A couple hours go by and I never got a response so I just moved on to my other assignments and finally finished just about everything with the exception of Chemistry around 7:31 and just as I check my phone hoping for a response from Tobias, just for the Chemistry homework and to make sure he's okay and doesn't dislike me to much at the moment I hear the front door becoming ajar and the creek crack of the brass hinges

I hop up from my seat and rush down to embrace both my parents in a passionate hug only to hear footsteps creaking down the steps and I look up to see Caleb with red eyes probably home work exhaustion kicking in.

Both Momma and Dad say Hellos and question us both on how school was
Me and Caleb decide to make dinner for our lovely parents who have endured a long drawn out busy day and we decide to make lasagna with homemade Garlic Bread.

After we make dinner and we enjoy our meal, with the garlic bread passing the taste test of our parents tastebuds we clean up dinner and I decided to travel upstairs to prepare for tomorrow.

Tobias's POV~

After witnessing what I just witnessed I feel like I need to turn my phone off, I remember that I told Tris that she could text me for the Chemistry homework assignment but I'm sure she's busy with him
I want to be occupied another way and forget everything including my past with that lovely ladies guy.
To be completely honest I felt hurt when I watch the scene between those two play out but I can't pinpoint quite why yet, but I guess PDA makes everyone feel a bit awkward and out of place

I walk inside the house to find my father not home yet and I know I should start preparing dinner and tidying up the house to make sure it's damn near perfect and let's not forget that school chore known as homework but I need to release my emotions at the moment.

I walk up to my room and sling my backpack off to the side and then walk over to my window to close my blinds and then I lock my door.

I glide over to my bed and unbuckle my belt And remove it from it's loops then I unbutton my pants as well as unzip them and I let them drop to the floor after sliding down my legs.
