Battle Scars

I don't know if Im at war with love

My heart is confused

I see many things

That being up long forgotten memories

A wound torn open when I hear the melody

I want this lullaby to help me forget

Yet it demands to be remembered

These Battle scars

I have long forgotten

Yet the feelings surface

So dearing and yet so fearing

I take my weapon

Lay it down

Stare at my mentor

And cry the few tears I have left

Memories and feelings from another life

Not of my own

They flow through me and become a channel

Dear moon tell me my war

Tell me my scars

Tell me who I am
