Johns POV
I rolled into the empty lot and pulled up next to Marley's car. I didn't expect what I saw. Her mother was strangling her. I jumped out and opened the back door. I grabbed her mothers arms and pulled back until I got her. We tumbled to the ground, she was yelling "you're useless" while waving her arms and legs everywhere. The cops came roaring into the lot and grabbed her from me.
"Holy shit" I ran to Marley "are you okay" I asked checking her over.
"Yea just a little shocked." she said out of breath.
"Alright, wanna get on the road now?"
"Yes please" I jumped back into my car, and looked at my mom and said, "Wow, I'm glad you're not the crazy one." My mom laughed and asked, "How did the cops know to come here?" "Couldn't tell you." I said, "Maybe someone called it in." We both shrugged.
And we headed to Tulsa.
