Jonin of the hidden Leaf Kakashi Hatake walked down the road leading to the gate he was coming back from a mission when he saw a girl passed out on the ground in front of the gate he ran to her side and slowly picked her up for she was covered in blood Kakashi then took her to the hospital the doctor came out about five minutes later "how is she" Kakashi asked the doctor sighed
"The child is severly under waight and and is suffering from dehydration and starvation who ever her parents were did not take care of her you can go see her if you like" the doctor said Kakashi nodded and walked into the room the child was in she looked weak and frail. Kakashi was looking at her whan large bright pink eyes stared up at him
"Hi child im Kakashi Hatake whats your name" Kakashi asked the girl sat up and tilted her head to the side
"Nyu" she said
"Is that your name" Kakashi asked as the hokage walked in
"Hello Kakashi how is she" the third asked
"I dont think she knows her name actually i dont think she can talk at all" Kakashi said looking at the girl
"Nyu" she said again
"Well then how about you name her Kakashi i was gonna ask if you could adopt her" the third said Kakashi nodded
"Hey do you like the name Nyu" Kakashi asked the girl the girl smiled and giggled
"Nyu it is from now on Kakashi Nyu is your daughter when she turns 12 she will go to the academy" the third said Kakashi nodded and smiled at Nyu from under his mask making the seven year old giggle.
For five years Kakashi tought Nyu how to talk wright and use her chakra
