I was speechless at what had just happened. The good girls, with their fierce demeanor, had completely overpowered the bullies. I turned to the girl leading the group, who looked back at me with a friendly smirk. She was slightly taller, so I had to lift my head to meet her gaze.
"Hey, new girl," she greeted with a confident smile.
"Heyyy!!" chimed in the two girls who had helped me earlier. The others offered friendly smiles. It was surprising how quickly I had made friends through being bullied. I gave them a grateful look, especially to the leader for her help.
"The name's Jennie, by the way," said the leader, sensing my thoughts. She had black hair with a thin long braid on the side.
"And I'm Rose!" said one of the girls who had helped me earlier, her rosy pink hair catching the light.
"And I'm Jisoo~," said a cute voice from the other girl. She had adorable brunette hair, and her smile formed a heart shape with her lips.
"I'm...-"
"I know, dear," Jennie said, gesturing to the others. "First, let's get you cleaned up."
CRINGGG
The bell rang for the next class, but Jennie anticipated my concern. "Don't worry, Rose and Jisoo are in your class. We didn't expect you to notice on your first day. Come on, let's get you cleaned up," she said, ruffling my hair affectionately.
They led me to a dressing room that made my jaw drop. It was pristine and elite, like something out of a high-end Korean drama. Makeup tables lined the left wall, and rows of new uniforms and coats filled the right.
"Lol, you look like a sheep in a castle," Jennie teased, making everyone laugh. I was taken aback but appreciated the humor. "Okay, girls, you can go now," Jennie instructed. The others quickly left, showing their loyalty to their leader.
A girl with short blonde hair and bangs, who I learned was Lisa, guided me to a dressing room and started unbuttoning my uniform. My eyes widened in shock.
"H-Hey..!" I stammered, stopping her.
"Oh, hey, what's wrong?" she asked, her innocent smile making me feel at ease.
"Um, I'm not comfortable with someone unbuttoning my uniform..."
Lisa giggled. "Oh dear, I'm not a lesbian. Sometimes I just take charge without realizing it. We need to get you out of these dirty clothes before the teachers find out you were skipping class. You're lucky you know Jennie, Rose, and Jisoo. Btw, I'm Lisa."
"Oh, I understand. I'll take off these clothes in a minute. But what should I do next?" I asked, feeling dumbfounded.
"Lol, take a shower, duh! You smell like food," Lisa said, scrunching up her nose. She gestured to the shower in the dressing room.
"It's spaghetti, I think. But either way, I'll get clean," I laughed, joining in the joke.
After what felt like an hour, I finished my shower and Lisa handed me a new uniform that fit perfectly. I was lucky to have my lenses back so no one noticed my strange eyes. After dressing, Lisa led me to one of the makeup tables.
The table was stocked with brand new makeup: eyeliner pencils and liquid liners, mascaras, palettes, lipsticks, sponges, and more. I noticed the room was decorated in black and pink.
"Urm, why is this room filled with black and pink?" I asked, looking at Jennie, Rose, Jisoo, and Lisa through the mirror.
"Because our group's name is Blackpink," Lisa explained. "Oh yeah, you're still new, so we shouldn't expect you to know that." They all smiled proudly.
