LAUREN'S POV
I sat there quietly trying to process what I had just seen. I tried to say something but I had no words, I just wanted to hug Camila and never let her go. How could she do this to herself? She was flawless. Everything about her. Her eyes, her smile, her love for food, the way she flipped her hair...I could probably go on for hours, but right now I had to help Camila. There were a million questions I had at the moment, but right now I had to listen. "Do you want to talk about it?" I asked trying not to cry. She nodded her head looked at me with glossy eyes. "Before I moved here" she started "I was bullied." She started to cry again and I pulled her into a hug. I felt her bury her head into my neck as I played with her hair. That's when I promised myself I would do anything and everything I could to help Camila. Once her crying had stopped she started to talk again. "It all started in 7th grade. There were some girls who would always make fun of me." I heard her swallow. "Everyday they would call me names, they said I was worthless. They said I was a horrible singer and I would never make it anywhere in life." I knew my job was to listen but I had to make something clear before she continued. "You're not worthless." I said as I moved a strand of her out of her face. "At first I let it slip, but then more people started going along with it...and eventually I started believing it. It wasn't until 9th grade that I started...cutting" she winced when she said "cutting" By the time she was done she was crying uncontrollably. "Camila, look at me" I said softly. "You are beautiful, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I wish I could tell you everything is ok, but it's not. You need help, and I'm going to help you get through this"I said as I kissed her softly.
CAMILA'S POV
I'm such an emotional mess. I had never liked crying in front of people. I don't like being seen as weak. But when I'm with Lauren I feel like I can put my walls down. "Thank you Lauren" I said so quietly that i doubt she even heard me. I felt her lips on mine and i knew she was the right person. What did I do to deserve someone as amazing as her? "Do you want to sleep over?" She asked. "I'd live to, I'll just ask my parents first"
Even though my parents had never met Lauren personally they loved her. They knew she was the reason I was happy...after all she was all I talked about at home. I called my mom and sure enough she said yes. After talking for a few more hours we headed up to Lauren's room. We walked in and I closed the door behind us. "Umm..can I borrow some pj's?" I asked awkwardly. "Oh yeah,they're in the third drawer" she said pointing to the drawers next to the window. I grabbed a pair of sweat pants and an old paramore t-shirt and changed in the bathroom. When I came out I saw Lauren struggling to take off her shorts because of her cast. "Can you help me?" Lauren asked and I thought I saw her wink. I blushed slightly as I walked over to the edge of her bed where she was sitting. I told her to stand up and I tugged on her shorts until they came off. "Thanks" she said. "Can you pass me that shirt over there." "Sure" I said as I handed her a tank top" "should I leave while you change?" I asked. "No. It's ok" she said as she took off her shirt. I stared at her perfect body as she put on the tank top. Once she was done she started to lose her balance and I rushed to her side just in time. We both toppled on to her bed, me on top of her.
LAUREN'S POV
I was enjoying the effect I had on Camila. When I told her to help me take off my shorts her face turned almost as red as Ed Sheeran's hair...and that's VERY red. After I finished changing I lost my balance and Camila tried to save me, but she's pretty clumsy, so instead we fell over on my bed with Camila on top of me. We looked into each other's eyes and then I looked at her lips. She leaned in and we immediately started kissing. I licked her bottom lip and without hesitating she let my tongue enter her mouth. I explored every inch of her mouth and then she took over. I felt her hands slide under my shirt as she nibbled on my neck. This girl wasn't as innocent as she seemed. Behind those puppy eyes there was a feisty girl. I felt her sucking on my neck and I moaned. We were practically eating each other's faces when Taylor walked in. "Oh-umm, s-sorry" she said nervously as she stepped out and closed the door. Usually I would've freaked out but right now I had an idea. I pulled away and I asked Camila to hand me my guitar which was In my closet. She handed it to me and I started strumming.
