Confession No. 6: Reality Hits Home

Confession Description: I love that Briar doesn't want to follow her destiny but I thought her revelation in Thronecoming was so sudden.

Rebelliously_Yours' Take: Yeah, it was a little rushed.

I resented Briar Beauty for quite some time after she threw the SoL down the Well of Wonder. I honestly don't know why.

Maybe it was because I knew she would crack at any time and decided to make her life miserable by keeping such a secret.

But it progressed so quickly! We should have had some build-up in a few episodes hexploring her insecurities. The only proof we know that she hates her destiny are the books and her basic diary.

And after a little prick of a stitching needle! Surely, you should have known what was supposed to happen to you, Bri. This is nothing new. Nuh-thing! (The Clique moment, again!)

So why are you acting like you were born yesterday? Huh? Huh? HUH?!

However, Briar does now have a clean slate, as does everyone in Ever After High (thanks to Raven and her wicked cool full powers) so she doesn't have to abide by the rules.

But I still wanted to see the build-up. *pouty face*

Oh well.

Congratulations Briar Beauty, on your bravery and courage. I salute you (sort of)!
