Prologue
Silence; a lack of sound, something people rarely experience. Right now, it’s the only thing surrounding us. The TV went black, radio connections were cut, and just outside of the window, people were fleeing. That’s when it hit us; it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, there is no hope, no chance. We’re on our own. We experienced something rare, a total lack of sound; silence.
