When he left,
He took parts of her that's she hasn't seen since,
But she's just too scared to turn the key, They say you should never be jealous of an ex
But you can't help it.
Because at least he's seen them.
All your left with are the scars,
Have your ever tried to love a woman who only has half a heartbeat.
One who hasn't cried yet.
Not because she doesn't want to,
But because she forgot how.
The same way burglary victims forget.
When they don't have enough money to move,
Enough courage to buy a gun
Because they're scared that one night they might use it on themselves.
So all they end up doing is buying more locks
And a bible
So that whatever wood and metal can't keep away
God can try.
Like her emotions are just the closet you stuff everything in when you know you're about to have company
Like her feelings are just the junk that you jam under the bed
And not portrait that's hanging over it, i guess that's why you don't 't go under there at night.
She has a heart that never makes it past the front door,
Inside of a body that can always make it to the bedroom.
The trust sucks. But the sex is amazing
But it's probably because
It was only thing they ever did together enough to get perfect
That and arguing, but you never had that,the same way she tries to pretend that she isn't different.
Have you ever met a woman who felt out of love with love.
That's like quitting school because of recess.
He left a taste in her mouth that no amount of wine and home cooked meals could erase.
Like love was just her waiting 2 hours in a 94 degree amusement park line,
for a water ride that you didn't even get wet on.. have you ever loved a woman whose heart is so unobtainable??
