Lukas PoV

We returned to school and it was great, the sense of normalisation we got from it really helped us move on. Knowing they are dead helps too. I hate that people died over us but they weren't in their right minds anymore so it had to happen for us to live a normal, long and happy life with our mates.

We have made great friends with the pack members and treat them as family just like they treat us. Our little group of boys still hang out but Lucas and I make time to meet up with Tim, Lacey and Josh once a week. We have our house so we meet there, from time to time our mates will join us but the four warriors are always hiding and patrolling outside. Damon and Dante insist on this and we don't complain, they are our friends but our protectors first.

Josh finally 'maned up' and asked Lacey out, it was kinda funny seeing the panic on his face when she pretended to think about it. She wasn't cruel though and shouted out two seconds later "yes! He finally asked me out! Woop! Woop!" The whole school yard turned at the commotion and cheered, Josh stood stunned for a minute until Lucas whispered in his ear "kiss her then man" he quiet happily obliged and kisses her to the sound of wolf whistles. They are going strong even though it's only been a couple of weeks.

Another thing that's changed is Lucas, he's just as sassy and funny as I knew him to be and he's loved in school. I'm so happy for him and I know mother and father would be so proud of the man/Luna he is becoming.

Today is our graduation and I'm excited. We've decided to become the lunas we were gifted with becoming so we are not going to the local college like our three friends are. They don't understand it but we told them we are moving in with the twins and are joining the family business. Not knowing about mate etc they made sure it's what we wanted and that it wasn't too soon but when we put their minds at ease they were happy for us.

"You ready babe?" Damon says coming up behind me. "I am and I can't wait to become a full time Luna, I love you big man" I say then kiss him passionately. "Hey what about me?" Dante whines. I go and kiss him with the same passion and tell him "I love you just as much love" he smiles and let's me go just as Lucas walks in the room.

Lucas' PoV

When I walk in the room I am tackled to the bed by Damon and Dante "Luka just told us he loves us, now you have to" they complain. "Well I don't love anyone who tackles me to a bed, get off you great big oafs" I sass them. They pout and go to move, I grab their arms and catch them off guard, I throw them down where they had me and fling my body across theirs making them oof "of course I love you sillies, you and my bro are my life" they laugh and smother my face in kisses.

We stop goofing around and finish dressing. I'm loving life. Sure it's been a hard road but we got there, now I have my brother/bestie, my mates, my pack and family (ma, da and our friends) and I couldn't be happier. We get out of the house after a million pictures, mothers eh, and go to the school. Everyone we are closest to are attending but Rory and Mason have to do pack business last minute so they'll meet us there.

The ceremony passes by quickly and I feel a sense of achievement as I'm called straight after my brother. Our gang cheer us on and I bow dramatically making everyone laugh. I'm glad to be back to myself. I wish our parents could be here but it's ok we'll see them some day.

Afterward we are just standing around talking, we are planning a family lunch as are most people. Oddly enough the only one who has nobody here is Tim so we invite him along, after some convincing he agrees and goes to tell Josh and Lacey. Minutes after he walks to them a few feet away our betas come up to us "sorry lunas, we only finished-" Rory stops, he looks at Mason and they both look at someone in the crowd and say "mine, mate,ours".
