If you're a non-Muslim reading this, Khadijah was the Prophet Muhammad's first wife. They were married for 25 years. Khadijah was a successful merchant, a divorcee and several years his senior.
Khadijah was the first Muslim - she supported the Prophet through the harsh first years of Islam after he received the revelation.
The year of her death was dubbed "The Year of Sorrow" by the Prophet Muhammad.
She was a very influential person and her input was crucial for the early days of Islam.
