Mat's P.O.V
Why do we have to be so far apart. He's my everything, yet I never see him. We talk everyday, to keep our relationship alive. Sometimes I doubt if he even wants to be with me.
He lives in California, while I'm stuck here, in Canada. I just want him to be in my arms, and never leave. But of course with my luck, I won't get to see him for another two months.
"Mat? Mat Hello? Babe are you there?" A slight accented boy says, snapping me out of my thoughts. I almost forgot we were on the phone.
"Oh Yeah sorry, I zoned out for a second" He's so caring, I don't deserve him.
"That's alright Nooch! Guess what?" He says excitement lacing through his voice
"What is it Petey" I ask, attempting not to gush over my adorable Boyfriend.
"Look Outside"
"What Wh-", "Just do it!" He interrupts
"Alright" I say uneasily, What's he getting at? "What am I suppose to be looking at?"
"The Moon!" Brandon says over excitedly
"Okay... I see the moon.... Babe where is this going?" I hear a chuckle come from his mouth before he responds
"We're looking at the same moon!" He eagerly answers
"Oh... Aweee that's adorable!" I exclaim. "You know some of the things you come up with surprise me" I chuckle
"I miss you Noochm's" His reply followed by a little sigh
"I know Petey, we'll see eachother soon! I'll be on my way to California in no time, we just have to wait two months" I say the last part quietly so he won't hear
"But I want to see you now" Brandon whines
"And I wanna see you too babe, but it just doesn't work that way, we need to finish school. I promise I'll be by your side in no time" I need to be strong, for him. I want to break down crying, but I know I can't.
"Okay" He sighs, "Well it's late I better get going" Sadness taking over his once happy tone
"Alright, I love you, and don't forget that" I say
"I love you too Mat, I'm your slime and your my robot" His response earns a chuckle from me. He's adorable
"Of course, I'll talk to you tomorrow Baby" I respond
"Night Nooch"
"Night Petey" And with that he ends the call, and the line goes dead.
After that day, the moon has been there sign of love.

Oh and Btw this one shot was inspired by my friend and I's conversation last night, she's in North Carolina for the week, and I'm still in Canada. And she was the one to say "We're looking at the same moon" So yeah Thanks for that Angela :D
