Caroline was on her way to school, she was so excited that she's nearly about to graduate, but rather than that, she's also going to meet Dylan,

"Caroline! Caroline! Wake up! It's time for school!" her stepmother, Mill, said, she widely opened the windows and removed Caroline's sheets,
"Well now, I couldn't remember the last time that you woke me up this early mom, did something happen?" Caroline asked, Mill smiled and sat down beside her, she held Caroline's hands,
"I hope you still remember Keegan..." Mill said, Caroline immediately answered yes,
"We've been invited for a little reunion"
Caroline blushed and got excited, she quickly got out from her bed and stretched, Mill was staring at her,
"What's wrong mom?" Caroline asked, Mill smiled,
"You know that promise that I made in the past? I'm so-" Mill said, Caroline sighed,
"It's alright mom, it's okay, don't worry"
"At least at the party, maybe you'll see him again, right? I mean, you two look perfect as a couple" Mill joked, Caroline blushed and denied what Mill said,

Without noticing, Caroline's friend, Jesse, surprised her from behind, as always, Jesse would be talking about her older sister, on one point, Jesse's mouth slipped and leaked something that she shouldn't bring out,
"As you know, my sister's been on the phone recently, I couldn't talk to her...I hate to say it...it must be a guy! And you know what? I wasn't even invited to go where she'll be going" Jesse said, Caroline was surprised, and so as Jesse, she immediately covered her mouth and looked away,
"Ignore what I said...I'm not supposed to-" Jesse said,
"It's alright, Jess, wanna go to a party? I'll bet you'll find someone there that you'll like!" Caroline said, Jesse grinned and stretched,
"What are you saying? You know that I'll only like...no, LOVE, James" she said,
"JAMES?! That name rings a bell...it's like I've heard it before" Caroline said,
"I can't believe you! He's in the same class as us!"
"Really? I haven't thought of that...maybe he'll be at the party?" Caroline said, Jesse's eye sparkled, agreeing on going to the party with Caroline,

Afterschool, Caroline, Jesse and James were the ones left to clean, they were sarcastically silent, Caroline isn't close to James as he is with Jesse,
Saying their goodbyes, Caroline already said hers, she waiting for Jesse, with a confident girl, she finally said goodbye to James,
Walking home together, the two friends were talking about random things, Caroline was thinking that if she would meet Dylan there, what would she do, or what should she talk about,
After a while, parting from going to their houses, Caroline texted Jesse about the party's venue, time and what to wear,
Upon coming home, Caroline ran to her father, Blake, who was seen lively as always, Caroline greeted him. She'd always wonder, why he's always lively, like he doesn't have any problems to take care of, Caroline dazed off from staring at him,
"Mon Cher, you're wondering why I'm always lively...am I right?" Blake asked,
Caroline nodded,
"Dad, don't call me that, I'm a teenager...and besides...you're right, what keeps you lively?"
