The Hero's Crush (Ray Manchester x reader)

Saving Her

You sighed and looked at your watch as the bell rang for you to go to your fourth class of the day. You turned towards (Best Friend's Name) and said,

 "Only three more classes after this." (B/F/N) scoffed and said,

 "Easy for you to say (Y/N). Your grades are excellent. Not to mention this is your last year." You scoffed and walked to class with (him/ her), saying,

 "My grades are average."

"Average? What do you call average?" (B/F) said, nudging you slightly as she continued,

 "With the grades you make, I bet Captain Man himself would be impressed." You chuckled, softly, and blushed at the mention of your crush's name. However, you found it ridiculous that you have a crush on a man that you don't even know. As you sat down in your next class you, looked at the board and sighed when you saw the amount of homework you had. As the teacher walked in he said,

 "Okay, class. Quite down and take out your text books." 

Meanwhile at Junk'n'Stuff

Ray's POV

I sighed as I flipped through the cameras that I had all over town. When I got to a college classroom, I stopped. There was a girl in the class that, from far off, looked interesting.

"Ray." I heard Henry's voice say from behind me. I quickly turned off the camera and stood from my chair.

"What were you watching?" Henry said, pointing at the screen. I shrugged and said,

 "A show." 

Time Skip to after your classes 

Your POV

I walked into my house and sighed, putting my book bag down on my couch. I yawned and walked to my room. I laid down on my bed and said,

 "I'm so beat." I found myself dozing off and eventually I was asleep.

Author's POV

 You were asleep until you heard a loud bang come from the kitchen. You sat up, quickly, and walked into the kitchen, quietly. You saw a man with dirty blonde hair, tan skin, and bright blue eyes. You pulled out your phone and as your began to type in an emergency number your phone began to beep. You sighed, deeply, as the thief turned around and grabbed your wrist, saying,

 "Let's go." Your eyes widened as he began to pull you away towards the darkness of outside. You tried to scream, but he placed his hand our your mouth. You squirmed in his grip and he tied your wrists together as her pulled you along with him.

"Listen here, girl. You are going to help me get out of this town." 

Ray's POV

An alarm went off and Henry stood up quickly, saying,

 "What is it?" I looked at the alert and said "A girl is getting kidnapped." Henry nodded and said,

 "Let's go." We popped the gumball into our mouths and popped a bubble. We stepped under the tube and Henry said,

 "Up the tube!" As we approached the criminal and the girl, I noticed that it was the college student.

"Hey!" I said, causing the man to turn around and the girl's eyes widened, her face flushed a dark red. The criminal threw the girl at me and ran.

"Kid Danger, zap him." I said, as I caught the girl. Henry nodded and zapped him. The man fell to the ground and I untied the girl, saying,

 "What's your name?" She blushed and said,

 "M-My name is (First Name) (Last Name)." I smiled and said,

 "How did you get caught up with him?" She shot a glare towards him and said,

 "I didn't. I got home from school, fell asleep, and woke up to him trying to rob me. When he saw me he dragged me out of my house." I nodded and said,

 "Well, maybe I should stay with you for a few nights. Or I could give you my number." Henry was dragging the guy that attacked (Y/N) back towards us. (Y/N) smiled a small smile and said,

 "You said your number....How about I give you mine instead?" I laughed and pulled my phone out, saying,

 "That's even better." She laughed and gave me her number. Henry stopped dragging the guy and said,

 "Hey. Captain Man, come help me with this guy. And stop flirting." I glanced at him and said,

 "Some one has to get her home." Henry sighed and said,

 "Would you like to bring her home?" I looked at her and said,

 "I would like that very much." Henry sighed and said,

 "Fine, call the cops. Before he wakes up." I called the cops, told them what happened, and where we were. After the cops showed up and took him away, I walked up to (Y/N) and said,

 "So, shall I bring you home now?" She laughed and said,

 "I'd like that very much." I smiled and wrapped my arm around her shoulders and walked home with her. 

Time skip to when Ray gets you home

Still Ray's POV

As we stood in front of her house, I looked at her and said,

 "This is your house?" She opened the door and said, 

"Yeah. As far as I can tell." She smiled and said,

 "Wanna come in for a minute...or two?" I chuckled and said,

 "I wish I could, but Kid Danger might be worried if I do." (Y/N) smiled and said,

 "Oh, well. Thank you for saving me." With that she kissed my cheek and went back into her home, closing the door behind her. I knocked on the door once more and waited. She opened the door and when she did I kissed her lips. She was shocked at first, but after awhile, she kissed back. I pulled away from her and said,

 "That was.....interesting." She nodded and said,

 "Y-Yeah. I'll see you around." I grabbed her wrist and said,

 "Wait....Can I come inside?" She nodded and opened the door wider, allowing me inside. I closed the door behind me. (Y/N) turned towards me and said,

 "L-Look....I really like you." I smiled and stepped towards her, but she stopped me, saying,

 "However, I don't know you...I mean I know this you, but I don't know the man behind this mask and if I don't know that you.....I can't be with Captain Man." I nodded and said,

 "I know, but I can't tell you who I am....I just can't." She smiled and said "I know, you can't. I'm okay with that." I nodded again and walked outside, but before I could walk off (Y/N) ran outside, wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed back. She pulled away and said,

 "Good bye, Captain Man." I released her and said,

 "Goodbye." As I walked away, I felt a emptiness in my life.

'Saving her may lead to some interesting things, but I'm gonna get her to meet Ray Manchester.' I thought as I walked into Junk'n'Stuff. I went down to the man cave and Henry was sitting there, watching a show. He looked at me and said,

 "What happened?" I looked at him and said,

 "Nothing....Nothing, yet. But trust me (F/N) (L/N) will be my girlfriend." Henry nodded and said "But you have to get her to fall in love with Ray Manchester. Instead of Captain Man."
