The Hero's Crush (Ray Manchester x reader)

New Job

You woke up and looked over to your side, looking at Ray. He had his arms around your waist and his face was buried in your neck. You turned over and faced Ray. You poked his face and said, in a mocking voice,

"Ray. Wake up." Ray groaned and pouted, saying,

"Five more minutes." You turned on your phone and looked at the time, saying,

"Well, I'm about to leave for school, so get up or I'm leaving without you." Ray sat up, quickly, and flipped you under him, saying,

"I'm up. I'm up." You smiled and said,

"I have to get up, Ray." Ray shook his head and said,

"Nope." You sighed and said,

"Come on, Ray." Ray smiled and said,

"Alright, but I want a kiss first." You smiled and wrapped your arms around his neck, pressing your lips against his. When you tried to pull away, Ray pulled you back into a kiss. After awhile, you pulled away again, stopping Ray from pulling you back in.

"Ray, I really have to get ready for school." Ray pouted and said,

"Play sick, today." You looked from him, to your school bag, then back to him.

 "Fine, Ray." You said, forcing him off of you. You sat on the edge of Ray's bed and looked down at the ground. Ray sat next to you and said,

 "Hey, baby. What's wrong?" You sighed and said,

"You know how yesterday you asked me if I wanted to be your second sidekick." Ray looked at you and said,

"Yeah." You looked at him and said,

"I do wanna be your sidekick." Ray smiled and pressed his lips to yours, saying,

"You'll have to drop out of college. You know that, right?" You pulled away from him and nodded, saying,

"I know." Ray frowned and said,

"You don't have to if you don't want to. You've worked so hard for so long, eight years. I don't want you to throw that away." You held his face in your hands and looked into his eyes, saying,

"You're the most important thing in the world to me. Nothing, absolutely nothing, can change that. Not even school." Ray leaned forward and kissed you. You kissed back and Ray said, against your lips,

"Maybe, you should call your college." You hummed and replied,

"I should and I will.....later." Ray pulled away from you, hesitantly, and said,

 "Later?" You kissed him, again, and said,

"Yes, later." Ray smiled and pushed you onto your back, deepening the kiss.

Time Skip to an hour later 

Ray's POV

I opened my eyes and saw (Y/N) laying next to me, snoring lightly. I smiled and kissed the back of her neck. She turned, towards me, and said,

"Enough, enough. I'm tired." I laughed and pouted, saying,

"Aw, but why?" She was about to say something, but I pressed my lips to hers. I pulled away and said,

"Time to find your costume." I got up and got dressed. (Y/N) sighed and I, practically, dragged her out of bed. She, finally, got up and got dressed, saying,

"Fine." I showed her the closet full of costumes and popped a bubbled, saying,

"Let's see which costume looks the best." She nodded and I went sit on the couch, waiting on her. She walked out with a purple and black costume on. I made a face and said,

"Nah. Too plain." She nodded and said,

"Yeah, it's kinda flashy too." I looked back up at her and noticed that it did caress her form, making it flashy at the top.

"Yeah, can't have that." I blushed, darkly, imagining me taking off her costume. (Y/N) noticed the blush on my face and she said,

"Get those thought out of your head, Captain Man!"  I chuckled and saw her come out in a blue and red costume, that fit her perfectly and it was gorgeous. I stood up from the couch and said,

"Wow. You look amazing." She chuckled and said,

"I know." I looked her up and down, saying,

"I mean, you always look amazing, but I mean....wow." I walked over to her and I went to kiss her, but the alarm started going off. I growled and went sit at the desk, saying,

"We have a robbery in progress." (Y/N) nodded and I handed her a tube of bubble gum, saying,

"You already have your costume on, but you know what to do with that." She nodded and said,

"Yeah, let's go." I went under one tube and said,

"Hey, when Henry is here. We need to share a tube. Let's see how it'll work." I held my hand out to her and she said,

"Alright." She grabbed my hand and I pulled her into my chest. When I made the tube come down on us, (Y/N) said,

"Up the tube!" When we went up, (Y/N) held onto me tighter. As we got to the bank that was being robbed, I saw that the robber had a gun. 

"(Y/N), get down!" I yelled, as the robber pointed the gun at her. She ducked and after he shot the gun, he took off. I ran after him, (Y/N) not far behind me. When he shot, again, I grabbed his hand and held it up in the air. The robber's grip on the gun loosened, slightly, and he whined,

"Ow. Ow. Ow. That hurts!" I rolled my eyes and said,

"Let the gun go and I'll stop twisting your arm." He let the gun fall and (Y/N) grabbed it, as I untwisted his arm and said,

"Call the cops." (Y/N) nodded and said,

"On it." It wasn't long after she called them, that the cops showed up. They took him away and a news reporter walked up to us and said,

"Captain Man, would you like to introduce us to your new sidekick?" I pulled (Y/N) closer to me and said,

"This is my newest sidekick and my girlfriend, Girl Danger." (Y/N) blushed, lightly, and the news reporter said,

"Girlfriend?" I nodded and the reporter asked,

"Does this mean that Kid Danger isn't your sidekick anymore?" I looked at (Y/N) and said,

"No, Kid Danger does work with us still, but you will see Girl Danger more often." The news reporter went to ask another question, but I walked away and whispered in (Y/N)'s ear,

"Let's get back to what we were up to." She blushed and nodded. I smiled and we walked back to the Man Cave. When we got there, I pressed my lips to (Y/N)'s and she said, against my lips,

"What if Henry comes down here?" I walked backwards into my room, taking her with me, and said,

"We'll hear him when he comes down here." She moaned, softly, and said,

"What if we don't?" I sat her down on my lap and said,

"He can't come in here without pressing a certain button. He doesn't know which one." I kissed down her neck and she sighed, saying,

"But he'd be able to hear us." I pulled away from her and said,

"Hey, it just you and me here. Don't worry about anything else. Focus on this." She nodded and pressed her lips to mine.
