Nick Groff Imagine- Leaving GAC

Imagine: being at home alone and waiting for your husband Nick to come home. Your daughters Annabelle and Chloe were asleep. You were in the kitchen when you heard a loud bang from the front door. "Nick, honey is that you?". You heard a little sob for an answer. You got worried and your voice got higher than usual. "Nick?" Without a word Nick ran into your arms and started crying.. "Honey what happened??". He had his face buried into your shoulder as he cried.You gently forced Nick's face to come in front of yours, " baby"..You said wiping away his tears, you had never seen him like this, You kissed his nose but he still didn't answer. You understood that he wasn't ready to talk yet you took him upstairs to your bedroom and then left to get him a glass of water. When you came back nick wasn't in the room. Next to your room was Anna and Chloe's room you found him standing next to Chloe's cradle. You hugged him from behind and he gave you a weak smile as he turned around to see you before kissing Anna and Chloe goodnight. You took his hand and took him back to your room. He sat on the bed and you handed him the glass of water. He took a sip and then you sat next to him and just rubbed his back as he finished the water. "I-" He stopped and a tears rolled down his cheeks. You could tell he had that lump in his throat so you didn't say anything.. "Zak and I- We.. I'm Out of GAC..." He broke down. To you it came as a shock so all you could say was.." What?".. He carried on," We were fighting and I ended up saying that Im leaning GAC and he said fine. I just left... I came back home and...." Your heart sank.. Nick and Zak had a fight.. What was gonna happen now? Is Nick gonna stop ghost hunting? What Is Anna going to say, she's gonna wanna see Uncle Zak Sooner or later.... Nick didn't say anything else. He just looked into your eyes and all you did was hug him again and then kiss him. You laid him onto the bed turned the lights off and climbed in with him. What just happened you couldn't understand..but you had to take care of Nick Now.. You kissed him again but he couldn't stop crying.."Shhh.. Its ok honey...", You started crying too.."Its okay...Im here.. Im here..." You continued stroking his arm and in a while he fell asleep... You were glad he was asleep but were still worries as to what you would have to face the next day....
