This Is a Prank!

°1° The Fake Proposal

Jared's POV

I was reading through his tweets one Sunday afternoon.

One of the tweets said,

Jared, I dare you to fake a proposal to Lana, make a giant speech about it, show her a ring, then kiss her on the lips, and then post the video.

I stared at his phone in shock.

I thought about it for a good long minute, before deciding to do it the next day.

I texted the whole cast except Lana his plans for the next day.

Josh was going to tell be everyone to meet in the break room.

I would  come in last, make my speech, get on my knee, and present the ring.

And hidden cameras we're going to record the whole thing.

The next morning when I woke up, I started to feel nervous.

I really hadn't thought about this. 

What if she says yes?

I have to kiss her!

A million thoughts raged through my mind.

I went into the bathroom and took a shower.

After I showered, I wrapped the towel around my waist and went to my closet.

I chose a blue, grey, white and black flanel shirt, a beanie, some jeans, and a grey hoodie.

I changed, grabbed my phone, and headed downstairs.

I grabbed a granola bar and met my mom in the car.

"Bye mom!!!"  I shouted and waved goodbye to her.

I headed over to my trailer, and was surprised when Josh was there.

"Jared!  I just sent out the text.  We better head to the break room."

"Um, yeah..."

Josh and I walked to the break room.

Inside, my mind was racing.  I was getting nervous over having to kiss Lana.

We arrived at the break room, and Josh headed in while I stayed outside.

I grabbed my jacket pocket to make sure the ring box was still there.

My phone finger and I looked at the text from Josh.

Alright.  Everyone's here.  Go.

I took a deep breath and opened the door.

I looked and saw Lana sitting in a chair in the left corner.

I walked over and went on one knee.

She gasped.

"Jared?-"

I took the ring out of my pocket and opened the box.

She saw the ring and put her hand over her mouth.

"Lana Maria Parrilla, ever since the day I saw you in the audition room, and you told me I was going to play your son, I saw something special in you.  It was only a year ago that I realized what I was feeling was love.  Since then, it's been difficult to hide my emotions, but you told me to follow my heart, and my heart led me to you.  So now, I ask, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me when I turn 18?"

I gave my her best puppy dog eyes.

The whole room was silent for what seemed like ages, but was really a few seconds.

"Jared, you are a sweet intelligent boy, but I already have Fred."

I stood up with the rest of the cast and Lana looked up at us confused.

"Good."  I said.

She stood up and I immediately crashed my lips onto hers.

She let out a yelp and immediately pulled away.

She gave a confused look and Colin burst out laughing.

Jen playfully punched his arm telling him to stop.

"What?-"  Lana said confused.

We all shouted in unison, "This is a prank!!!".

Lana gave us her evil queen stare for a second, and we all burst out laughing.
