I still remember the moment I met Lucas Robert Hemmings. Back then he was just Luke, my twin sister Amanda's and my best friend. But he wasn't just my best friend he was also my crush. I had fallen hard for him. How could you not? His blond hair and blue eyes. I had been hit hard with this crush.
We had always hung out but then he became super duper famous. Now here we were some 15 years later. He had disappeared on tour and I had lost track of him. On a gloomy Saturday morning I was sitting in Starbucks when he came in. I instantly noticed him. His blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. I watched as he ordered his drink and then he spotted me.
"Hey Ali." He smirked. Ali was my nickname. My stupid friend-zoned nickname. It still made my heart beat 10,000,000 times faster. Was I falling again? No don't you dare fall for him again.
"Hey Luke." I smiled. I stopped crushing on him when I realized he would never like me back.
"I haven't seen you or Amanda in ages." Luke smiled sitting down.
"Yeah well you were on tour." I said softly.
"Yeah." He said softly, matching my tone. Was he upset? No. He couldn't be.
"Well Mandy (Amanda) would be happy to see you." I mumbled. I didn't allow myself to say "I missed you." No feelings not today and not now.
"Well we should catch up! I miss you!" He confessed.
Crap. Feelings.
