I hated today. Probably because it was a school day and I just couldn't handle school. I groaned. Rolling out of bed I quickly got dressed. Today was a beanie day and leggings. I plugged in my earphones and started to bob my head.

Shut Up and Dance by WALK THE MOON was one of my favorite songs. It helped me make my morning routine way more fun. I heard a loud honk.
"LETS GO SLOW POKE!" Amanda yelled. Amanda is my weird twin sister.
"'ey!" I yelled back laughing.
We got in the car and drove to hell. Oh, excuse me, I meant school. As we made our way down the hall I felt somebody hit my body. I slammed hard against the locker and groaned in pain.
"Watch where you're going, nerd!" Alex Baynor roared.
"Leave her alone!" A voice hissed. I turned to see Liana Peterson storm up. She shoved Alex.
"Sorry Lia." Alex grumbled before stalking away.
"You okay?" She asked extending her hand.
"yeah." I said. I was starstruck.
This was the Liana Peterson. She was a huge deal around the school. She played bass guitar in her band Electric Hearts. She had short, wavy brown hair with a killer blonde ombré. She had a beanie on and a tattoo of birds flying on her left arm. When I stood beside her she was about and inch taller than me.
"I heard you know Calum Hood?" She asked.
"Yeah. Luke Hemmings is a childhood best friend. Why?" I asked.
"Well we were talking last night and he was telling me about you." She smirked. Was this Calum's mysterious Liana?! I think YES!
"ah." I nodded.
"I bet you also met Aria?"
"Yeah. Mint green hair? Dating Michael Clifford."
"Yup! Haha that's the girl! You should go to a party with us after school." Liana smiled. "If you want your sister Amanda can go too."
I gave her a look. She knew Amanda?
"Luke told me about her. Can you go?"
Of course. Luke probably liked Amanda! I could see why. "Um. I'll think about it okay?"
"Yeah totally! Here's my number." Liana rummaged around in her bag for a minute before pulling out a pen. She opened a piece of gum, popped it in her mouth, and then wrote her number on the wrapper. "Here! Tell me when you know!"
I watched her walk away and I realized I had lost Amanda. "Amanda?"
"I'm here! I can't go to the party. Sorry! But you are totally going!" Amanda gushed. I sighed. I knew Amanda would force me to go so I texted Liana.
Alice: hey it's Alice. I can go.
I watched the little text bubble pop up.
Liana: OH YEAH! I can give u a ride after school.
Alice: I have no party clothes :(
Liana: I do ;)
Alice: thanks
Liana: see ya later babe
What was up with these girls and the word babe? I had no clue but what I did know was that tonight would be a wild one.
