That evening German went to the theater to relax with Violetta and they went to the same place to sit as usual.
Everything was going pretty well, until when they had a break and suddenly Albert de Morcerf rushed to him, looking angry and by now his voice was heard from the other side of the corridor.
- Count! There you are, you liar!
German was calm and cold as ice.
He was waiting for this already.
- What is it, Albert? - he asked calmly while all the people in the theater were looking and listening to them - There's no need to be so loud.
- Don't play with me like that!!!
Meanwhile behind him his friends Franz and Maximilien were arrived too, trying to hold him back from doing something stupid.
Both boys also had their personal problems and they didn't want their friend to get into from one to another as well.
Franz's engagement was ruined by the fact that Valentine's grandfather was actually the killer of his parents and he just refuses to marry into that family which already made Villefort go crazy and this is why he went to the count, almost killing him.
This fact actually made Maximilien really happy as he was truly in love with Valentine, but the poor girl was sick for a while and unable to get out of the bed.
German knew about all of this and he was working on to help the lovers out...
But first he had to take care of the Morcerf family...
- Can't accept the truth? - German continued teasing him as he already saw Albert is perfectly like Fernand.
He can be easily pissed off.
- What are you gonna do?
- I want a fight!
- A fight?
- Yes!
- Alright.
- WHAT?! - everyone else gasped around them.
- When?
- Tomorrow, early morning!
- Weapon?
- Guns!
- See you there - the count said as he was just looking at Albert and everyone else that were still shocked by how calmly the count actually agreed to fight with Albert.
Either Franz, or Maximilien thought this is even going to go well as they both know how clumsy he is and completely unable to fight.
Meantime German was satisfied with what happened, altough he wasn't planning to kill Albert at all.
Albert wasn't the one he had plans for, but he wasn't surprised that this happened and that's why he accepted it as well.
He knew his skills are better than the boy's that is actually still just a kid that just can't know anything more at all.
- Dumbass... - he mumbled to himself when him and Violetta were alone again.
- Don't do this... - she said.
- Don't worry, my princess - German smiled at her - Everything will be just fine!
She smiled a bit, but still wasn't sure if she should believe him, even though she knew when German says everything will be fine then it sure will be fine, but he was still worried...
