A Day Filled with Excitement

Lilly's POV

I can't believe I have my own room! This is so awesome! I have my own kitchen and my own living room! I'm an adult! I jump up and down on the couch. This couch is very bouncy. I like it!

There's a knock on the door. I say very adult like,

"Who is it? "

I hear daddy laugh and say, "It's your daddy. Are you dressed? The tour guide is here. "

I sing, "Give me a second! "

He giggles and says, "Alright. "

I rummage through my bags and grab my white shorts with my blue tank top. I'm looking too pretty! I put on my blue sandals and join daddy in the other room. He has on a Hawaiian shirt and black shorts. He looks at me and smiles. He says,

"You look stunning. "

I blush and giggle. I say,

"Thank you daddy. "

I hold his hand. He smiles and says,

"Lilly, this is our tour guide, Pam. "

I look at Pam. She has on a green collar shirt and white shorts. She has a name tag on her shirt. Pam. I smile and say,

"Hello Pam. "

She smiles and says, "Hello, Lilly. I'm going to show you some amazing stuff today, ok? "

My eyes light up. I say, "Awesome! "

She leads us out of the hotel room and into the elevator. As we walk through the lobby, the guy yells from the front desk,

"Have a good time you two! "

Daddy awkwardly waves to the man. I stare at the man. He has a weird look on his face. Like he just saw his favorite food. I look around as we continue to walk. I don't see any food around.

Pam leads us outside. There's a jeep with no doors parked. She says,

"This is how we'll be getting around. "

My eyes widen. I say, "This has no doors! That's not safe! "

Daddy laughs and picks me up. He says,

"That's why we have to strap you in safely. "

He puts me in the back and straps me in. Then he checks the straps. Then he double checks. Triple check. I finally say,

"Daddy! I'm strapped in. "

He smiles and says, "Just making sure. "

He gets in the front and straps himself in. Pam gets in and says,

"Lilly, what's something you've always wanted to do? "

I had one thing on my mind. I say excitedly,

"Scuba diving! "

Pam laughs and says, "You got it. "

I had the most exciting time! It was the best day ever! The color fish and the bright coral reefs! It was beautiful! We spent hours under water.

I'm hungry now. Daddy said we were going to order room service and watch movies all night. I'm so excited! I'm taking a shower to get the ocean smell off me.

Daddy is taking a shower also. We smell like sea fish. I giggle. I get out and get dressed in my pink flower pajamas. I go into the other room and sit on the couch.

I hear daddy on the phone. We picked up a bunch of Disney movies before we came back. I pop Frozen into the DVD player.

I've been dying to see this movie! Daddy comes into the living room wearing his red silky pajamas. I love those. They're so smooth. He sits next to me and I cuddle next to him. He says,

"Dinner should be here in a few minutes. What are we watching, sweetie? "

I smile and say, "Frozen! "

He laughs.

Michael's POV

Dinner arrived. I ordered a bunch of sweets and Lilly's favorite pizza. I don't let Lilly have sweet treats during dinner, but tonight I thought she deserved it.

While we eat, Lilly tries to learn the words to the songs. I listen to the words and laugh. Did this girl just say we finish each other sandwiches?

Crazy teens in love. Lilly climbs into my arms and rests her head on my chest. I kiss her forehead. As the movie progresses, I get into it. I say,

"Kristoff is the man for Anna. "

Lilly says, "He is. "

After a while, I hear the door open. I hear Brandon's voice,

"I'm finally back. "

I say, "We're in here. "

I hear his footsteps. Then he stops. He almost yells, excitedly,

"I love this movie! "

I hear him running and he jumps over the couch and lands next to me. I'm glad Lilly is in my arms. He claps his hands together and grabs a slice of pizza. His eyes are sparkling at the sight of the movie. I say,

"Well, hey babe. "

He looks at me and says, "Oh, sorry. Hey. "

He pecks my lips and looks back at the TV. He takes a bite of pizza and says,

"Lilly, this movie is the greatest! "

Lilly giggles and says, "I know! "

They both lay on the ground and rest their heads in their hands. I smile. I can't believe my boyfriend loves the same movie as my 6 year old daughter.

By the time the movie is over, Lilly was asleep. Brandon was too. I giggle and cover them up in a blanket. I decide to just leave them there. I cuddle up on the couch and close my eyes. Today was great. I got to spend time with Lilly. I'm happy about that.
