Renee was a 15 year old girl. She had no family, her mother and father left her in a basket at the side of the road, she is a foster child. She has always been in and out of her homes.
One day she was sitting in her room looking at her feet and wondering how far, how long, and how fast could they carry her away. She was all alone in her room when a boy's voice peirced the silence.
"Hello there." He said. Surprised, Renee jumped off her bed to look at the boy staring at her through the window behind her.
"Who are you!?" Renee blurted out in fear. A smirk appeared on the boy's face, crouching in the window.
"Well, my name is Blaze, and you are...... Ahhh yes Renee." He answered. Silence fell again in the room. Renee's eyes spread wide. She didn't understand how he new her name.
"Aren't you going to reply to me?" Blaze asked with puppy dog eyes. She felt bad for making that sad look appear on his face.
"I'm sorry, I just don't know what to say."
"Well, that's alright."
"How do you know my name?"
"It says it on your necklace." He pointed out.
"Oh." Renee said feeling stupid.
"Well, goodbye now, until next time."
"Wait!" Renee shouted at him. He didn't look back at her before he jumped out of her 3rd story window. He landed perfectly fine. Shocked, Renee's heart skipped a beat. He looked back up at her and winked then ran away.
Renee ran down the stairs and out the door to see if she could catch up with him, but he wasn't even in sight.
"That's impossible. " Renee exclaimed to herself. She went back inside and back up to her room.
'How did he run that fast? How did he even get up to my window? Next time? What does he mean? Will there even be a next time?' These question circled in her head.
