Promises

Chapter 3

*Autumn's POV*
As soon as I got home, I raced upstairs and slammed my bedroom door behind me; I threw myself onto my bed and face-planted it.
Immediately, I grabbed my phone from my pocket and called Emelia, it rung 3 times until she answered. Before I could say anything she spoke first:
"Hey, how did it go?" She asked, sounding excited, almost as excited as I was.
"Mills it went amazingly. He kissed me!!" I almost screamed out of happiness through the phone.
"Woah woah woah. I'm coming over now! Tell me all about it when I get there!" And with that, she hung up.
In a record time of 4minutes Emelia turned up at my house.
"Heyy!" I greeted her with a hug and pulled her up to my bedroom. She plonked herself down on my bed, looking at me questioningly. "So," she begins, "tell me all about it!".
I tell her about taking his dog for a walk, and how he got close to me on the bench, then how his lips touched mine for the very first time. My best friend now liked me back.
"Awh, that's so cute! Now you can never ever wash your lips again!" She joked.
I honestly love Emelia so much, she's amazing, how even if I'm in the worst mood ever, she somehow manages to make me smile. I don't know how she puts up with me, but I'm so glad she does. We both have college tomorrow so I ask her if she wants to stay mine for the night, she agrees it would be an amazing idea. Probably so she can talk about what happened with Lucas all night long.
She doesn't have to go home to get stuff because she already has a lot of her clothes at mine, because she basically lives here, i wouldn't have it any other way.
*The Next Day*
"Mills wake up! Your going to make us late!" I yell at her through giggles, she was probably asleep from talking till early hours this morning.
"5 more minutes.." She groans. "Nope, up you get." I say, pulling the quilts off of her. "I hate you." She says jokingly, she stood up and grabbed some clothes to get changed into.

*College*
"Go talk to him" Emelia said, jiggling her eyebrows up and down. I walked over to him, he was Standing with Caspar and Reece again. I was really close with Caspar, and Lucas, not so much Reece, but he was a friend who I often talked to. However, I greeted him and Caspar with a hug. When I got round to Lucas he just plainly said "Hey" with a smile, "hey" I replied, whilst pulling him in to a tight hug, tighter than Caspar & Reece's. After an amazing start to the day, I returned to Amelia, happier than before.

I'm sorry Joe isn't in any of these first chapters, I just wanted a build up to meeting him (: Tbh I know some people might wanna skip to the part he is in, but it will make more sense if you read these chapters first
